I cannot get this pen to write, no matter what. Complete frustration. I want to chuck it out a window, and then I reread the glowing reviews and I don’t know what to think. I have tried absolutely everything. It was a total waste of (not a lot of) money.

This makes a great gift or EDC. It's just a metal body and cap for the Preppy. Great investment. The Preppy cap can crack over time. This is more resilient. I currently have one with a swapped feed, a 05 nib, and a converter. I've also used the international short cartridge adapter and the 02 nib with good success.don't fill with Noodler's bulletproof or baystate inks. Those detroy the preppy feeds.

Two stars for the color. The cheapest "metal" fountain pen. The ink doesn't disperse evenly in the distribution chamber so it looks really ugly. Like some modern art paint splotch except on the inside of your grip. Hated the weight of the pen too- not what you expect for the price.

This is my first fountain pen that I purchased. It was inexpensive but very nice for all that. It writes very well and when I put the cap on and write it isn't too heavy. My only complaint is that occasionally the tip needs to be tightened because it becomes loose. The branding is very subtle in the silver banding on the cap. I put in the black ink cartridge that came with the pen. Very happy with my purchase! Would definitely recommend.

i'm a little embarrassed to admit i have this pen in 3 different colors. they are so elegant, the price is good, they fit my hand really well, the balance is good, and the top easily stays on the back of the pen as i am writing. (there is a word for that, sorry, cant think of it.) I think it would not be too feminine for a man in a black or darker color. i have one in the medium nib , one in fine and one in extra fine. i love all three.

A great looking pen for its price! The color is really nice and the material and grip.I am looking for to get a roller pen just like that!!! :)

I love this pen.No.I LOOOOVE this pen.I did in fact get the proper fine nib; it writes beautifully and cleanly. I have noticed that I must be careful with what ink I use, and Diamine inks work wonderfully in it. It is comfortable in my hand and I can leave it for a month (if the converter is over half full), then uncap and write immediately with no problems whatsoever. This is a terrific product.

It's okay

Pros:- Really lightweight, feels like you're holding air so you can write forever without getting tired- Love the lavender/lilac shade, aesthetically pleasing in personCons:- Ink skips on the page, you have to keep shaking the pen for more ink to come out- A little bit scratchy to write withIts ok, but I probably wont repurchase. The Kakuno fountain pen is of similar price range and does better in my opinion.

Platinum - Plaisir Fountain Pen Blue

I really wanted the 3 pens as per advertised, ie floored nib and trim in cap. Unfortunately the blue and green pens came with silver nib and no colour trim in cap.I like the pens but am still looking for the correct styles for these Plaisir pens to complete my set.They arrived quick enough just not quite right.

The perfect size pen for drawing

This pen is just the perfect weight. Not too light, not too heavy. It sits very comfortably in my hand which is small in size. Ink flows consistent with a slow movement. Too fast and the ink does miss to deliver. I use this to sketch with and I just love how the depth of this pen hits the right size as to not get hand fatigue.
