Amazing construction and balance. Med Nib is slightly larger than expected for a Japanese Nib, probably would prefer the Fine Nib for my style of writing. It does, however, work very well and ink flows generously with no scratchy feeling whatsoever. <5% of the time I have a hard start while using the pen for extended periods with the cap off. I would definitely buy another and recommend to anyone who is interested in a daily driver.

The Platinum Procyon is an excellent daily pen for the price. It writes well without skipping and feels good in your hand with the cap posted. It seems to be slightly more fine than I would expect for a fine nib and probably would have gone with the medium if I had known.
