The molds on the bottom are difficult to remove the play-doh from without ruining the shape. I forsee a lot of dried up chunks wasted from getting stuck unless the whole mechanism is disassembled and cleaned after every use. I feel like this will be a short-lived toy, which makes me sad to think about all the wasted plastic polluting the environment after a couple hours of play. My child has been enjoying it, but I think she has more fun with open-ended play-doh play because there is less frustration without all the extra parts, which will inevitably end up strewn about the house. I probably would not purchase something like this because it is just not worth the hassle or the environmental harm of wasteful plastic.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I am obsessed with this. I played with it with my nephew because it was a little young for my son. He loved how the play doh colors swirled together. I thought the sprinkle maker was the coolest part. I also love that it came with enough play doh for him to make several different creations as the colors do get mixed when making these awesome looking pretend treats. We made a couple different cute treats and I know he wanted to play with it the very next day with his mom. I would highly recommend this to others.

Fab play set. Really adorable and not made of flimsy plastic, quite sturdy and durable. My Neice and Nephew have been playing with this out in the garden for over 2 hours with the minimal of arguments! Each takes shots of making us adults some swirly ice creams. My Neice, who's 5, loves using the molds and making the shapes, whereas my nephew, who's 7, prefers pushing the Play Doh down and creating the swirls. For kids, it does need a bit of strength to push the Doh down, but they both managed it. They're loving playing with this, and as an adult, I love having a shot, too. Really brings out their creativity. 5 stars fab. Wished I'd have had this when I was a pup!

Easy to use

This is such a perfect gift for those little creative minds. It comes with 5 playdoh pots 3 of which are multi coloured which is great. It also comes with some additional tools to create the make believe ice creams. It also comes with the ice cream maker. My daughter loves it! It’s very easy to set up and to use my daughter didn’t need any help while using this and got the hang of it straight away. I would hugely recommend this and can see my daughter getting plenty of fun out of it.

This ice cream rainbow swirl playset is fun it does give my anxiety a little increased awareness of mixing colors as I grew up never mixing the Play-Doh colors laugh out loud. Garbage

I honestly don’t understand any of the good reviews. This thing is terrible. To make the swirl cone the thing falls apart. It takes the strength of an adult to get it to depress enough for the play dough to squeeze out- but then the force of pressing it breaks the machine. We tried putting tons of play doh into the swirl creator and it was nearly impossible to depress. Then we tried a tiny bit of play doh at a time and even that didn’t really work because each time you have to stop and add more play doh it messes up your swirl. The plastic is super flimsy and bends which makes it even harder to use. I have a frustrated 5 year old and a crying 3 year old. Awesome toy

Great Idea

I love this idea. My daughter and I were walking through target and found this play dough ice cream set and we were like we have to buy this. So we did and every time I woke up she was playing with it. Such a lifesaver when my kid is one of those kids who can’t get their eyes off of electronics. It has an ice cream maker where you put play dough in and press with the pusher. There is also a sprinkle maker where you put the play dough in and crank the spinner. Also a bunch of moldes,play dough (which is good because some people don’t have play dough),1cup holder, 1 ice cream cone, and a bowl with a spoon.

My children love Play-Doh! The Play-Doh Rainbow Swirl Ice Cream playset is a nice add on to their other Play-Doh sets. This was easy to assemble and comes with 5 packs of Play-Doh. The girls were able to make fun ice cream Sundays, smoothies and make all the fun toppings. The part they enjoy the most is making sprinkles the grinding part on the side makes little Play-Doh pieces so they resemble sprinkles. Clean up is fairly easy, the part where Play-Doh goes for ice cream was a little tricky to empty out. Overall the girls love this set and they approve it!
