My daughter adores this family vacation toy set. I must mention that she had some frustration putting the wheels on the car and needed adult assistance for that. Once assembled, she enjoyed playing with this set enormously—packing the family and their luggage into the car, driving them to the beach, having them surf and drink from the bottles in the ice chest. One thing that surprised me is that the car doors do not open, and you have to put the family in and out the top of the car, but my daughter doesn’t mind. This set is easily integrated with other Playmobil sets and similar toys to expand the story and set up hours of imaginative play. We are delighted with this item and would recommend it to others.

The Playmobil Volkswagen Beetle was very easy to construct. The accessories fit the roof rack perfectly. The set even comes with little drink bottles that fit right into the cute little cooler. There is also a beach blanket that can be stored in the suitcase. As there is no glue involved, this is a great toy that can be played with over and over. The family of 3 that come with it fit right inside the car. Overall, this is a quality product that can be enjoyed many times.

I got this for my four year old for his birthday and he’s thrilled! It took him just a little while to put together, with some minor help from his older siblings, and he said one part was “so hard”, but he did it anyways. He’s had a lot of fun with it, and the extra pieces make it that much more enjoyable. It seems durable too, and hopefully we can keep it around a long time. We’re happy to have it!
