I think most "game stores" will do, and say anything to make a profit. As a gamer, and collector myself for more than 30 years I would never have accepted anything like that from a customer if I was running a store. That and they claim they "fully refurbish, test, and clean all consoles" no they don't, or else I wouldn't have received a system that bad. It was also poorly packed btw, with only a couple of thin layers of bubble wrap (and I mean thin) and some popcorn styrofoam thrown on top of the box. Which is one of the reasons why the system was broken in the back, though I have suspicions about that the huge dent in front of the system was already there BEFORE it shipped. Our family is still rocking the Sony PS4. We have had it for 6 years. Games are played almost everyday and there are a wide variety of them. The whole family plays. We especially like the Lego games as they entertain both kids and adults. There’s humor built into them and you can relive your favorite movie by following the storylines in the game. We also don’t have to worry about parental controls on the Lego games. We were a bit disappointed when Lego Dimensions discontinued new product development, but we still use the old ones. I’d recommend a gaming system for the whole family and this one doesn’t disappoint.

Better than expected!

Reading some of the other reviews made me nervous to order from this seller, but I am pleased to say everything went great! The box arrived somewhat bent in on one side despite being marked fragile, which I know is the post office’s fault, so I was worried the contents would be damaged. Everything works great! Everything was individually wrapped in soft foam to protect it and the system itself had a few layers of bubble wrap. The PlayStation’s condition is to be expected as a refurbished piece, but any outer dings are hardly noticeable when on my shelf. They even sent me a free game! Such acts out of an independent seller like this are so amazing and kind of them. If I ever need any other product that they have, they’ll be the first I check!

Buyer be very careful

I genuinely feel like i was LIED TO !Item was used / refurbished at best.The item is described as New, There was no OEM BOX. It came with an incorrect controller charging cable, and everything was unbelievably STICKY with who KNOWS WHAT !!I am disappointed about not receiving what item was described to be. Not having the OEM Box was fine, Incorrect charging cable, irritating.My issue is, the box it was shipped in was the only box used to protect the console and other items. It was barley big enough to fit and was shipped in glorified Saran wrap %26 tapeI have items now, for further testing and observation purposes.

I'd like to put him 3 stars. However, because it's an old ps console, it is hard to say this seller kept it clean, like 95% cleaned N the daulshock seems good but light and feels good at pressing button and it's better than any fake controllers I've seen so far N yet he sure know how to sell with respect way. However, wires aren't the same one that was originally from Sony but he at least gives us everything that we need and the usb isn't ps4's usb and it's too short to connect with your controller 😅 but at least this guy tried his best to keep it everything that we need and yet he selling these ps4 pro way too cheap so yeah but ut before it's too late because ps5 is mot everything if ya think ps5 is the only ps5 is the best console you are completely mistaken. [Rewarded Review] Better Than Expected

Buying a “refurbished” console these days seems to be a gamble. Thankfully, this one was a win.Right out of the box, I noticed the outer shell and covers had minor, MINOR scuffs, a bit of dust around the edges, and a weird yellow substance in between the controller panels.HOWEVERIt did come with an official DS4, stock power cable, an HDMI cord that did allow it to output in 4K, and, upon setup, ran nice and smooth.Tested it with The Last of Us Part II, and it ran like butter. Smooth, quiet, almost like a brand new console.If this is how Best Buy refurbishes their consoles, then maybe I’ll be back for a Xbox One soon.

Let's start with the packaging. The console was shipped in a box 5 times the consoles size with no protection to prevent it from shifting in the box. During setup the drive said it was corrupted. Did a factory reset for the drive to act fine until I loadedmore games into it and of course this was after the return period. The controller was sticky and did not hold a charge. There was absolutely no benefit to buying this refurbished from best buy. I have since ordered both a replacement battery and hard drive for this PS4. You are not getting piece of mind buying refurbished through best buy just a limited return window.

Bought a refurbished PS4 pro for my daughter as a gift for Christmas and it was a total let down. Ruined her whole Christmas honestly. Despite some reviews that mentioned they recieved just a PS4 with no cords or controllers I ordered it anyways because a majority of reviews said it arrived with everything and in great condition. Unfortunately we weren't the lucky ones. It arrived with everything but a power cord. So needless to say my daughter was very excited to play her new PS4 and couldn't for 2 days till a cord was ordered and arrived from amazon. Then once turned on the console was sooo slooow it took her 5 hrs to sign into her PS account.
