Going back to areas feeling empty, if you had the chance of playing Valkyrie Profile you may see how Elysium is similar to that game, however, that was a 2D side-scroller game and for the time that was ok. I think the fact that this is 3D with a hint of cell shading makes it weird to go through entire areas without any substance, you will find hordes of enemies here and there, but the rest is empty. Lastly, since the areas are quite large, most of the time you have to look at the map to see where you are and where you need to go, which is such a bummer because you have to go into the menu every time you need to check something. Adding a mini map, on screen, would have remedy that because you do need to check that map quite often, especially if you are looking to get every collectible in the game. I think this was a miss opportunity for providing more characters and more content regarding Midgard, the game felt rushed, incomplete. I still enjoyed it, and I am grateful that this game exists and hope that if another title is made, they add more content to the world.
