My son loves it. Easy to assemble but took a while. Two screws were no good but managed to do without them. The cover is a great inclusion. I keep the sand toys inside and use an upside down bucket to prop up the cover so it doesn't dip in the middle and the rain falls down the sides instead of pooling in the middle. I use rocks to hold the edges of the cover down so the wind doesn't blow it off.

Ordered this for our 2 yr. old grandson. The size is good for that age. We put five bags of sand in it. The assembly instructions were a little unclear but my daughter and I figured it out. It arrived two days earlier than expected.Our grandson loves it!

Bought this for my 2 year old son, but wanted something a bit bigger than the plastic ones, and this is fab! Fairly easy to put together and I did it by myself. I was concerned about the cover quality having read other reviews, but it was perfect, with elastic over the corners to secure it into position.Great buy

Very happy with this sandbox. Bought it for our daughter for her two year birthday. Perfect size. Very easy to put together. Only took about 20 minutes. Love that it came with a cover. Four 50 lbs bags of sand was good enough to fill it. I like that it is wood so that when the kids grow up and it is not any good then it will be more easier to get rid of then the plastic sandboxes.
We bought this as a first birthday gift for our daughter and she loves it. It was reasonably easy to assemble and it’s a nice size. The cover does collect a lot of water when it rains unless you prop it up underneath in the middle; we found a large plastic plant pot (the kind you can get at the supermarket) to be perfect for this, with a few bricks to weigh down the top and edges. We were also very impressed by how quickly it arrived and how compact the package was.
The positives - Looks nice. My kid can sit inside the sandbox and still play. Negatives -No pre-drilled holes on the bottom section which is where it is needed. There was pre-drilled holes on the seats but that made things harder because you had to line it up to the horizontal top of the bottom boards. Bottom does not attach to the sand box so I do have sand leaking out because at this point, I had so much time into it that I didnt have time to completely level my ground. Disappointed the trap doesn't fit tightly. When it rains, the rainfall fills up on top of sandpit (so you need two people carefully lift off the tarp to prevent water from getting inside). Specification says "partial self-assembly required". In fact you need to build the whole thing. All you receive is a load of planks and screws and it takes hours to build.
Fairly easy to put together. Make sure you are on a flat and level surface when doing so. The reason for 4 star is that the holes on the 4 seats dont match up with the frame so it was frustrating making sure it was even and hoping the screws went in the frame instead of missing the frame. The finished product is absolutely adorable!!! We used 5 bags of sand to fill it and that seems like the perfect amount. The cover for the box is such a bonus!! This was priced perfectly and made for an excellent 1st birthday gift!!
I bought this sandpit a couple of months ago for my grandaughters birthday in late July. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality. Sand seeps out at the bottom edges. Although there is a provided cover it is not fit for purpose allowing water to fill up in the sand pit. Making it impossible for my granddaughter to use until all the sand drys, which takes a few days. I feel I've wasted my money and my granddaughter is disappointed with a sandpit she can't use when she wishes.
Really nice sandbox, a perfect size for my granddaughter; she loves it! Was easy to set up. The cover fits well and is a great addition.
