The box is a little flimsy. The springs snap it shut more often than desired but the box itself also has lights in it that pop on when hatch is opened. To be honest I love the pok’e ball but when I went to receive my package at the shop (I brought it click and collect) the box was smashed and open, the cashier apologised for the open package but that’s not really the point. It was meant to be a collector’s item but in the condition the box was in (sorry didn’t really think of taking pictures at the time) means that it’s lost value before I even opened it or touched it. I don’t know if the store dropped it or maybe the delivery driver dropped it I don’t know but I think it was just abit crap to spend 150 dollars on something and have the the box destroyed luckily the thing still works, I was hoping to have the box to put the poke ball on and display it but ohh well still looks cool just think you guys could have ... The first Pokemon. Ball I received had a indentation mark on the red part of the ball, after an email and photo to Nintendo, a replacement was despatched very quickly. Very good quality product, brought for my son who is a collector. Would recommend.

The Pokeball is beautifully made and looks like the real thing. Not only does the box light up under the pokeball, but the centre of the pokeball lights up as well. It feels well made and has a nice weight to it.
The actual ball is amazing, such an incredible prop. The only letdown is the display box. It feels quite cheap compared to the ball. And for anyone else who tried looking for the ring before reading the pamphlet, you need a screwdriver to open the bottom of the box to get to it.
