The special box release to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Pokemon and it's absolutely wonderful. You always feel like you pulled something good when opening these packs! It's always fun to open one of these and it's even better if you can open one with friends. If you find it for the right price, you'll definitely want to pick one up

Best Celebrations Product

Managed to get two when these released between 1-2 AM EST on Oct 8th. Now, Im going to review the actual product. 10 Celebrations packs, + 5 assorted Sword and Shield packs for 49.99 is a great value, as well as the Gold Star Greninja being one of the best promos ever released in my opinion. When you break down the value, 5 regular packs = $20 , gold star greninja = $6-8 , 10 celebrations packs = $40 (minimum). You're getting nearly $70 worth of value here, so just keep that in mind when purchasing here or elsewhere.

Best ETB Pokémon has ever released, just very overpriced.

It is by far the best ETB that Pokémon has released. Love the designs for all the dividers, dice but particularly the sleeves had a very excellent design in my opinion. There are two things that make this ETB in particular great. One is that we get a premium card, that is exclusively to the ETB. This is a reprint gold star Greninja, and this is the first time Pokémon has reprinted a gold star card. But what makes this ETB stand out is that it contains 15 booster packs. In the celebrations packs there is a 90% chance that you will get a good card, or a “hit”. There is also a small chance you can get two hits. The reason however that I review this only 4 stars is that it’s crazy over priced, averaging at about 90$ per ETB. Although I do agree that this ETB should cost more then the others, 90 is just not at all a fair price for this ETB. If you turn over enough rocks though, you can find sellers that will part with it for around 70$ - 75$. In general, best ETB Pokémon has ever released, just very overpriced.

Cool, but don't hoard not worth

The celebrations box is fun. For people collecting and enjoying its a fun box. No need to rush into buying them as there will be plenty of stock probably for years to come. As others noticed this might be the new trainer boxes that they keep recycling until people buy them. So note to the wise. Just try to get the ultra premiums for hoarding. For these your time plenty to be had. Can be bought at many places for the next few months.

Good deal for $50

Out of 8 ETB's and 80 Celebrations packs, I've found the 'hit' rate to be about 40-50% with some packs having up to 2 'hits'. Hits range anywhere from Pikachu V and Vmax's/ Zacian and Zamazenta V to the Classic Collection hits. I managed to get two Charizard's in my first 2 out of 3 ETB's but haven't gotten another after (still missing Rayquaza EX, Zekrom and gold Mew). Out of the 8 ETB's, 2 were pretty disappointing. This is not a product you want to buy more then 5 times in my opinion. You will start to get way too many duplicates from the Celebrations 25 card set and even the Classic Collections easier pulls. Overall I had a great experience and highly recommend to people who haven't gotten one yet.

Good price and amazing pulls

A bit delayed on shipping, but worth it to buy at retail price. Came boxed well without any damage.My uncle who passed away bought me a base set charizard when I was younger. I used it to play at the toysrus leagues. I was hoping to pull one to remember him by. I didn’t get the original charizard, but I’m happy to get one anyways. I literally cried for a good 30 seconds. Happy 25th anniversary! I hope everyone has fond memories of their childhood when they open these packs! I miss you Uncle! Good luck!

I use to play Pokemon cards when i was a kid and at the age of 33 i had the urge to give it another go as i am a pokemon and board game fanatic. As it had been so long and i didn't have any decks, i wanted something to give me some variety as well as teaching my partner how to play. Having 3 desks allows some variation and they are nicely balanced. we didn't bother going through the whole guide where they guide you through a pre prepared step by step game (they have numbered cards in case you want to try it again) but i can see it being very useful for complete novices. The board itself is nice and is an actual board game style construction rather than the usual paper forms. Small rip, only 9 celebration packs?

Ordered online a little after midnight on release day and went to store to pick up today. Noticed a small rip in the wrapper on the corner but I’m opening it anyways and looked to be original seal so no real complaints. (If you are a keep it sealed collector I guess beware?)Upon opening it there were the 5 booster packs but only 9 celebration packs not 10. Very disappointed but again I don’t think that’s on Best Buy as much as it is the manufacturer. Zero chance at complaining because it’s opened now so who would believe me anyways. Stuff happens.

Smaller Set = Better Pulls

The new Pokmon GO summer set is amazing. Every pack has a guaranteed Holo, which does unfortunately diminishthe value of the Holographics. HOWEVER, the Rare Holos also come in a Reverse Holo form, so interestingly this makes the Reverse Holo form of the Rares more desirable, as they are harder to obtain. Be on the lookout for Ditto! Look on the bottom left corner of Reverse Holos for his symbol, he likes the forms of Bidoof, Numel, and Spinarak. If you find him, peel off the front of the card like a sticker to reveal him! This set has 3 versions of the Big Three, so you have 9 chances at Venusaur, Blastoise, or Charizard, in their Holo, Reverse Holo, and Radiant forms. I was lucky enough to pull not only the Radiant Charizard, but also the Gold Secret Rare Mewtwo V ... MoreThe new Pokmon GO summer set is amazing.
