A great camera, lots of fun, just make sure you're ready to spend money!

I bought this because I have always wanted a polaroid camera, and I found one for a good price! I really like the way it's designed. It's very cute, and fun. The digital screen showing how many pictures is left is great, as is the red-eye flash. However, it's missing a closeup/faraway option that a lot of other Polaroid cameras have, as well as the lighten or darken feature. As well, the film is expensive, so that's something to beware of. ($20 for 8 exposures) But, all in all, it's a well made camera.

A must get!

This one version is one of the most special ones of the wide range of Polaroid cameras out there - I personally find the TIMER function incredibly useful and a big plus point for users. It could be even nicer if it is as small as the Spectras, however it's not that much bigger, still not a hassle to carry/hang around the neck. Price wise - for Polaroid cameras nowadays are excellent it their value for money - it is the films that are outrageously expensive raging from 25-50 for 10 shots! Well, you gotta do what you love! Enjoy guys I'm sure all Polaroid enthusiasts should have this model on their hand, even more, beginners who's getting their first Polaroid 600 Camera.

Great camera!

This camera is so much fun. Reminds me of when I was a kid. It's kind of nice to just have to take a picture the way it is rather than to take a photo and then spend way too much time editing it or retaking until you think it's good enough to post on social media. The only thing that really sucks about this camera is what others have already said: the film is so expensive! We tried some that was expired hoping it would work out, and it definitely didn't. We needed this camera for my son's birthday photo booth, so we ultimately decided to buy a fujifilm 8 mini, as they currently still produce film and it's much more affordable. We will be keeping this camera, however. It's wonderful and next time I find a deal on film I will stock up.

Great, Easy To Use Instant Camera
13 March 2009

The Polaroid One600 Classic Film Camera is great for fun or for business. Unlike the modern digital camera, the Polaroid One600 cameras produce an instant picture on paper with the touch of a button. The same results, if not better, can be produced with digital cameras. However, purchasing all of the equipment needed to do so can prove to be quite expensive. The Polaroid One600 line of cameras provide an easy, cost effective way to produce instant photos on paper. Whether for your personal photos or for business productivity, I highly recommend any of the One600 line of cameras.

Old age cameras make a comeback!
9 July 2010

The camera is very easy to use. Pop in the film and you are ready to take your instant picture. Polaroid cameras have a quality that normal pictures can't produce. I'd say it's a different "taste" of picture. however, film is discontinued as well as the camera itself, hence the expensive film price. But for occasional fun, I'd recommend.

I bought this Polaroid camera because the old one my parents had broke, and I really wanted to use it for some art. I love my camera and it has proven to be everything I wanted. I have used it at parties, for wall art and tons o fother things. The only problem I would have to say is that the film nowadays is SO expensive!!! Beyond that I have no complaints. It was in perfect condition when I got it and has worked like a dream....besides one minor film error. If film wasn' tso much I would buy another.

Polaroid One600 is still a classic camera!
5 March 2008

I think this product works great. My fiance and I bought it for our wedding. It makes it easier to take pictures and have the final product in your hands right then and there. It is quick and easy to use, and by having people sign their photo placed in a book, instead of a traditional guest book, will make looking at our guest list a lot more fun! Although a camera with a good zoom is still needed for those sight seeing adventures, the Polaroid One600 is great for quick results, fun photos, and easy for kids to use too! This product is very affordable. Especially on Ebay where I bought it! The film may sometimes be expensive, but you can buy it on Ebay in large quantities for a great price as well. All in all, it is perfect for what we bought it for and we couldn't ... MoreI think this product works great. My fiance and I bought it for our wedding. Polaroid OneStep Instant Camera
30 March 2009

I received this Polaroid OneStep instant camera brand new in a box, factory sealed. I opened it and it's in excellent shape. I tested it out and it works perfectly fine. I like that you don't need any batteries for this camera unlike the other instant cameras. It uses the batteries from the film. I popped in a fresh pack of polaroid film and tested it out and the quality of the pictures is really good. It saddens me that they're no longer manufacturing Polaroid cameras or films. Luckily I have this brand new camera to keep as an antique!

Road Trip With Kids - Great Diversion
3 September 2008

I picked up three of these Polaroids for me three young boys, ages 3, 5 and 7, and incorporated them into our road trip to Yellowstone Park this summer. They were each provided with a small (20 page) photo book and each of the boys were allowed to take a couple of pictures on a regular schedule. As they took the pictures, they placed into the pages of the pocket books and each of them ended up with a unique photo-essay about their summer trip. I plan to use these over and over for different outtings or events where it could be fun for the boys to record their experiences. The whol process of setting up the shot, taking the picture, waiting for it to appear and then creating the album created a great break in the otherwise boring journey across the country.

This camera arrived dead twice
21 October 2019

This is the last of the 600 series and Polaroid did not seem to put a lot of quality control into it. I would not recommend this camera. It seems to just simply die.
