Polaroid Snap Digital Instant Camera - White

I rated this product at four stars because of the fun factor. We purchased this camera for one of the tweens in our family. She really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun snapping pics of her friends. But, the photos are very small, the quality is OK but not great, and the film is quite expensive to replace at the rate of her picture-taking!!! On the other hand, the price was very reasonable for this kind of product and she did really have a blast!

I received this camera for Christmas, because my dad said that it's better than the Instax Mini cameras - I have yet to find this true. The first picture I took came out with a blueish tint, which I hear is common. The next few pictures I took came out with streaks/lines through the print. Great Instant Digital Camera

Bought this during Walmart black Friday and had so much fun with it. My 4 year old daughter loves to take pictures and the best thing is the picture comes out almost instantly. I believe it takes about 40 seconds for the printer to come up. Although in the past we would have to wait few seconds for the colors to kick in this printer/film you don't have to. The print itself it also a sticky paper so you can mount them in albums or anywhere my 4 year old chooses to. The black Friday bundle also came with a micro sd card so I am able to save pictures and print them later if I wanted to. Thinking about buying their touch screen version but hoping pricing will come down on it as it is currently at 179. Overall great buy and great learning tool for younger children.

Love this camera for it's novelty

I bought myself this camera for the sheer novelty of it. I could not be more happy with the product. Everywhere I take it, people love it. It's true, it doesn't come with much instruction, but it's not like it is rocket science to figure it out. Load the film with the blue card down, pick if you want a frame or not, take a photo, enjoy the print out! This is not designed to zoom in and is not going to take an awesome photo of something that is far away, but that is not what it is made for. It's an instant gratification photo. It shoots photos with or without a frame. It takes photos in full color, black & white, or sepia. There is a flash and it takes an SD card. Polaroid Snap

As a camera lover, I have many that I've collected over the years, but this is my new favourite. Although the paper is a little pricey, it's cheaper than paper for older Polaroid cameras. Also being a more modern Polaroid it has certain features like the option to add an SD card, charge from USB and timer settings. It's great fun to use with friends or for special occasions. The image quality is good, but remember the method of getting a photo to paper means it won't be up to the current image standard that perhaps you can take with your phone, but it's more about creating an older look. Lots of fun, and a good way to make photos physical again. You can even buy mini photo albums to collect your images.

I think this is a great camera to practice photo taking. And it is fascinating to see how, the combination of skill and luck makes every photo turn out. Obviously reminiscent of the '70s and '80s and so on versions of the Polaroid instant camera. Viewfinder does not line up with the aperture as well as past renditions of the Polaroid instant camera. Be weary when "lining up" shots. You may have to lift or lower the camera relative to how something appears to be in the viewfinder. Directing the camera and facing it up-close to, and from the center of any subject and moving backwards until an acceptable field of view is achieved is your best bet at taking personal shots. Inserting film into the back of the camera is easy. Just open a pack of 10 film, unlatch the cartridge door and place the blue barcode card face down. The first shot taken will allow the blue card to adjust the film pack first. Then the actual photo will follow. When no film is available, a sim card slot is located on the side of the camera. Which can be used with an up to 32 GB sim card to store images with the digital portion of the device. Overall, this is an easy to use device that, should not be purchased unless you are into "experimental" photo taking. It can also be utilized for newcomers to photo taking. ANYONE can use this camera.

Polaroid snap

I really enjoy the Polaroid Snap so far. My only 3 reservations about this camera are that the battery doesn’t stay charged for very long at all. It will be dead within 24 hours. There was no information on how to turn the flash on or off, was a accident discovering how. And when taking a picture it would be helpful if there was a sound indicating a picture was taken, and to just click once fairly quickly. Holding down the picture button too long will result in flash or no flash. Still getting use to it, wasted alot of film was the result of asking someone else to take a picture for us as they kept pressing the button thinking it wasn’t taking! Thus the sound for picture taken suggestion would have come im handy for a new user!

Road Trip Staple!

This summer we are taking a road trip with some friends to "get away from it all" and enjoy the back roads and small towns of America. We are all in our 40s, and just want to have a great road trip/vacation like we had when we are kids! So when we saw this Polaroid Snap camera we knew we had to have it! We will be using it to create a scrapbook of our trip as we go! Sure, you can argue that you could use your phone camera and print it when you get back - but let's face it, most of us never print one single photo from that phone! I wish this camera came with a little instruction booklet showing what the buttons are for, and how to load the paper. I am pretty tech savvy so I figured this out in a "snap" (pun intended). After you get through the process of loading the Zink paper, you need to figure out how to turn it on. Well, simply press the on top of the flash, it will pop up and the camera will turn on and make a little sound letting you know it's on. Then you can select which 3 different color settings, a bluish one, regular color, and black and white. To select, just press the button until it lights up the color you want. Then you are ready to take your photo. The photo takes maybe a minute to fully print, but I love how it prints instantly! I haven't had an issues with this at all. Very little shutter lag!

I am not a professional photographer or any where close. I take shots of kids and pets etc. I have been disappointed with digital cameras since I picked up the first one. The number one issue for me is you can't see the screen out side next you see the perfect shot ,click the button and weight. In the meantime the kid or pet has moved on and you get a high quality pic of an empty room. That is called "shutter lag". The cause of this is that a digital camera has a lot to do in order to take a pic and the more advanced the camera the worse it gets. The only solution is to buy a $600+ dollar camera that is designed to compensate for the lag. Now the Polaroid snap has solved my problems.
