Great product to start but eventually the bucket gets grungy no matter how often it's emptied or cleaned and looks like the silicon gets eroded at the bottom. Also the clips wear out in time.

Great design. I saw and had to get this. Great for home composter as it flips out easily. I'll bet folks who have had mold issues don't clean it after emptying. However, design can be tweaked in execution. Suggestions include slightly thicker walls, side hook for lid that can be used as handle when emptying. Wire sides can be hard to hang on to when emptying. It's slipped out of my hands a couple times.

I love this compost bin. It's good quality, looks nice in the kitchen and doesn't smell. My favourie feature is the silicon construction, which means that you can push it inside out when you are emptying it. This means that even my kids are happy to take the compost out because they don't get their hands dirty - they used to hate doing it with our old bin.

I have been using this composter for at least 5 years now. Early on I called the company directly to order a replacement because my husband accidentally dropped it into the garbage can without holding onto the bottom protrusion. I ordered 2 more container for extra measure. The top and bottom have been in the dishwasher numerous times without an issue. And I love you do not need a bag, just throw it in the dishwasher. I've always have it on the bottom dishwasher rack (I have a Meile dishwasher).
I've been using this compost container for a couple years now and love it. I line it with a bag so rarely have to clean the silicone base; and take apart/clean the lid every time it's emptied. I like that it can sit out on the counter to be easily accessible.
Large capacity so it doesn't fill up too quick; No smell! No bugs! Easy to clean, use it all the time! Has an 'unobtrusive' footprint, doesn't get in the way on the counter.
When deciding on a new compost bin for the kitchen, I was hoping to find something that was aesthetically pleasing enough to leave on the counter since I have a small studio apartment kitchen and virtually no cabinet storage. This was definitely the most attractive I was able to find. I also love that it has vents so it blocks out smells more than most others as well. It's easy to clean too. I honestly couldn't be happier with it!
This kitchen compost bin has a lid which adjusts the airflow, brilliant, no more carbon filters! Its so easy to rinse. As its grey with a silver frame goes perfect in my kitchen! Ive had many kitchen compost bins, this one is the best, highly recommend!
I purchased this at the beginning on November 2020. I use it everyday to throw out fruit & vegetable scraps. I use bags inside of it so it's easy to clean. I really like that it keeps the smell contained & I don't need to fill up my regular garbage with things that will rot & make my kitchen smell. Sometimes I do need to clean it in the dishwasher to get the smell out if it.I have only taken apart the lid a few times in all these months. Today I took it apart to wash in the dishwasher & the top handle fell off! I turned it to release it & the plastic just broke.Now I'm at a loss, I need to replace the lid. How do I do so?
I've had this for a few weeks and at first i was completely impressed with it... but then the silicone started to get moldy. and that's it!I have been disciplined in emptying it, cleaning and drying it as soon as i'm done in the kitchen... yet it still gor moldy.very well designed but such a fundamental flaw means having a source of mold in the kitchen _facepalm_hopefully I can still return the product and get a refund.I don't even want to add a photo - it's too gross :((this form needs addressing - only able to choose between Male and Female for gender? get with the times please Robert Dyas)
