I have these in my 2011 Street Glide running off of a Rockford Fosgate Power T400ad 2 channel and they are loud and crystal clear. Killer highs with decent bass for a 6.5" speaker. Best batwing set that I have heard. Nice light weight speaker that won't damage the fragile inner mounts of a batwing fairing. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

Good sound for the price. I took away one star because the terminals are pretty flimsy. Connectors were a little tight, & I was afraid of breaking them before I got the wires attached. Otherwise a good value.

I dont like my phone up in my windshield or clipped to a vent and had trouble finding anything that would hold well down lower. This mount has a very small base and can be mounted in many places out of the way. Magnet is very strong. Only down side is my contact charging was blocked by the large square metal plate on the phone. The smaller round plate is used down lower to allow contact charging again. Both plates are supplied.

I took a chance on these speakers. I was looking at some twice the price but read good things about these. I put them in the fairing of my 2017 street glide, powered by a 200 watt per channel sound digital amp.. At first I wasn't real impressed but after about 10 hours of play they really opened up and was louder and clearer. If you get these know that they need to break in. I am 100% satisfied and I'm a bit snobbish about my sound.
Incredibly clear and loud on my motorcycle at hwy speeds. Some will complain of bass deficiency, but no 6" speaker produces bass well. Fantastic mids, highs, clarity! I used the discontinued mm651 prior (3 pair over 5 years). With 150 watts applied to 100 watt speaker, I would blow one every 6 months to a year. In a car, I suggest you pair with a sub.
I was under the impression that these were the latest and greatest upgrade in the 6.5" coaxial lineup from Polk. I got a new vehicle and loved my DB651s in there. These MM652s have almost no bass response. The factory trash has better response and excursion than these. The clarity is great, though. But, I need some mid-bass to fill out the sound envelope.
Speaker claims to handle a fair amount of power but it does not! I installed 4 of these in my fairing of the 5.25 and the two 6.5s in my saddlebags on a 600w rms cerwin vega marine amplifier. Blew them the first day of riding. They sounded great. Until they didnt. They overheat very quickly in direct sunlight and the surround seemed to weaken wich then allowed the mid driver to bottom out and seize.
Installed in a Wrangler YJ in a front sound pod. Selected for Marine rating and good sound reviews...Yes! Excellent for my open bodied ride with plenty of clear, crisp volume from the Sony head unit. Overcomes road noise quite well without needing to go into nuclear sound mode.Installation was straightforward, but the grilles needed a touch modification in my specific install. The sound range is substantial, but I will add in a sub shortly to compensate for road and exhaust noise on the bottom.
These are better than scoche, and dual, worse than pioneers and kickers. Good in between. Sounds is clean and crisp, I have no complaints. My entire system is autotek, 6.5's, 6x9's and 2 12" dvc subs powered by a Boss PV3700 5 channel. Cheap system with overall decent performance. It won't blow you out of the car but you will feel the music.
I replaced the door speakers in my 2001 Yukon XL with these and it was very easy. I used the original 'snap-in' retainers. They sound very good.
