I’ve been using these clamps and adding to my inventory for many years. Never have I experienced one ounce of trouble or failure ever. Their so easy to use you can push the jaws together by holding the quick release pretty much one handed. Very strong holding and never come loose or bend.

I purchased this over 30 years ago and it has preformed exceptionally well during this time. Excellent holding ability and very durable.

I've had my vise for over eight years now and it is no different today than it was when first purchased. I like that the handle is thicker and more solid than the ones on other woodworking vises that I have owned. An excellent product.

I received the 4”x10 as a gift on my bad. This thing is pricey but so worth it. Want the best wood vise on the market? Look no further!
This vise is my third hand! It allows me to safely work my wood projects with my two natural hands while securely holding stock. The fast-action quick-release function is great eliminating endless turning of the screw to position the vise to fit different thicknesses. The vise stays impressively parallel when clamping objects that aren't flat. I use this every day and I know I saved may wounds to my hands by having it secured to my workbench. Thanks for the quality tool!
Bought this vise for my work table. No problems, works great, been on there for months and a ton of use.
I bought 6 of these vises for my small high school shop and they were a great improvement. Mostly they have been excellent. One vise has developed a problem that I suspect is due to a manufacturing flaw. The threads that are pressed into the collar may have not been pressed in quite deep enough so the threads have sheared and the vise no longer locks closed. The other 5 are still solid so they get 4/5 stars
Quick actionFlawless mechanicsOne handed adjustmentabsolutely nothing to complain about
While it took me a while to mount this beast of a woodworking vise, it has been well worth every bit of effort. This has elevated my woodworking projects immensely simply from having more control over an item in the vise without multiple clamps on a piece to the bench.
I bought this vise last May to add onto a long overdue project - a good, functional, workbench. I looked at all the major brands, new and used, domestic and foreign, and in the end the Jorgensen was my choice. As soon as it was delivered I installed it and have enjoyed using it ever since. It slides out effortlessly with the counterclockwise turn of the handle and pull and firms up the workpiece with a push and a clockwise turn. While the steel handle works just fine I do intend to make a wooden one just 'cause I'm an old guy wood handles suit me better. Great product!
