This is my most favorite pop tart! I love the outer crunchy like frosted chocolate coating and then the center is soft delicious chocolate, whether you toast it or not. I remember having these as a kid rushing out the door to go to school and grabbing one to hold me over until lunch. My kids also enjoy the different varieties that Pop-Tart offers. I also like the unfrosted blueberry those are not as easy to find and the brown sugar flavored ones, Yummy!

I tend to purchase the boxes of eight, which comes in four individually wrapped packets (2 pop tarts in each). I normally stock up once a month when they go down to half price at Fred Meyers. Personally I’m not a fan of these but both my boys adore them (ones 6 and the others 2 years old). The fact they are already baked means they can be enjoyed when your out and about as a snack straight out of the packet. However my boys prefer them warmed in the toaster. But when heated in the toaster it needs to be done on the lowest toaster setting, otherwise it will overheat causing the chocolate filling to get extremely hot and even then l let cool for minute. Apparently you can enjoy them frozen but it’s not something we have tried. We’ve tried their other flavours but this ... You have to start making this flavor again! It is the only flavor my autistic son will eat and it's been a struggle to find a substitute breakfast food. We've spent literally hundreds of dollars over the last 15 years buying these pop tarts and supported Kellogg's with our money so they need to support the parents who need to feed their children with something they'll actually eat!!!

Now I'm not usually one to complain about something being "too sweet". I used to believe that anyone who used that phrase and meant it simply lacked the sucrose bandwidth that I possess, but after trying these Poptart's, I find myself empathizing with my former enemies. Perhaps it is too much chocolate for breakfast (again, a sentiment I never thought I would say), but I found myself a bit overwhelmed. Flavor is good, but much like the Froot Loops Poptarts, I was smacked in the face in a way that was not exactly desirable.
We love these Frosted Chocolate Fudge Pop Tarts. They definitely deliver on the chocolate cravings you may have. These disappear almost as soon as I buy them. They are good eaten right out of the package, but our favorite way to eat them is toasted. They are SO GOOD when they are warm and the chocolate inside the Pop Tart is all gooey. Highly recommend to all the chocolate lovers out there!
I've been getting the frosted chocolate chip poptarts for years - they're my absolute favorite flavor. Toasting them and having a glass of milk is the best. Since about a month ago, none of the stores I go to seem to have them in stock and they're unavailable to order on Amazon or anywhere else. If they've been discontinued, I will beg on my hands and knees for them to be brought back. PLEASE.
Ever since they tragically discontinued my previous favorite of all time, the chocolate gone nutty peanut butter ones, I have been buying these ones. They are so good the chocolate frosting with a creamy swirl that tastes like marshmallows is so crispy and decadent the crust tastes like graham cracker and the inside is the cherry on top, tastes exactly like the cookie dough we all grew up sneaking bites out of the mixing bowl and getting yelled at by mom! They taste like a s’more filled with cookie dough. They are the best toasted, but taste amazing straight of of the package at room temp, microwaved, or even frozen! I buy these all the time for my kids and they love them!
Figured I’d fined these again, FINALLY, at Target! I love these, it’s like eating a cookie that has some health benefits! These were stocked at my local store and so happy. I read online these were disconnected. I got three boxes, one is almost gone. They’re so fresh too and perfectly sweet, but not over. Thank you Target, I will be buying more very soon!
It is my understanding that Frosted Chocolate Chip Pop-Tarts have been discontinued (for weeks+ now) due to difficulty in obtaining ingredients because of supply issues. Hard to understand, but please bring back ASAP! And do not change the ingredients!! They are the BEST Pop Tarts and about the only ones I would buy now. None of my local grocery stores carry hardly any Pop Tarts anymore. Sad. In northern Virginia. Please fix.
We have a store at the bottom floor of our building that has all sorts of prepackaged mini snacks and meals, and when I saw a box of these one day I decided on a whim to grab one. I haven't had a pop-tart in a good... 15 years or more?I had forgotten what a small glimpse of childhood delight felt like until I took a bite into the middle of one of these bad boys was. I will throw my cares away at the judgement of my coworkers asking about chocolate first thing in the morning. For even 7 minutes of me just zoning out in front of my computer and remembering my care free days is enough for me.I will enjoy this, braking off piece by piece and taking my "darn" good time to enjoy it. I can only imagine what these delicious little pastries taste like if you bothered to ...
