I’ve had this Popsocket for a little over a year. I’ve never taken it off of my phone case. I’ve never moved it/adjusted it or anything. The adhesive is detaching.. like it’s damaged, or it’s gone bad. I’ve used multiple Popsockets before, I’ve used Popsockets that’s I’ve taken off and used many times over, and I’ve never had this happen. I will be holding my phone, and I feel the phone moving and the Popsocket is detaching. I’ve tried pressing it down and letting it set overnight, but that doesn’t help. I have an old popsocket from years ago that I will be attaching in its place. Not sure why the “newer” ones don’t last as long.

It's great if you only want it as a way to help and improve your grip on your phone. Otherwise it honestly sucks especially with the car mount. One of the reasons I had purchased the pop grip was to use it with my pop socket care mount and it was horrible. The pop socket for some reason would never sit flush and caused my phone to constantly sag when on the car mount. As a way to help you hold your phone it does the job, but compare to a normal pop socket it's lack luster.

Get a Phone Fin brand instead. Having had both the popsocket and Phone Fin, i can say the Phone Fin actually delivers on what Popsocket hopes to do. The Popsocket broke and was impossible to clean. It was very limited in supporting Phone to watch videos, etc. The Phone Fin (available at Target.com for $9.99) lasted through THREE different phones and has been handed down to my son for his phone. It's a strip that pulls up and holds the Phone nicely. It's easy to use as a handle and accommodates one or two fingers in the loop. Easy to clean and available in nice patterns such as faux snakeskin, leather, and many colors. Popsocket is more of a gimmick, while Phone Fin is pure genius.
