And the best thing of all is that it doe not affect the tone in any way, I thought the paint would be printed on (which is was, and has a slight stickiness but it's because paint never dries). So I figured it would dampen the tone from the grille being covered in paint, blocking the holes but it doesn't.

The Positive Grid Mini checks all the boxes for what a portable amp should be…small, lightweight, loud, rechargable, and customizable. And what could be better than designing your own grill?!? The amp feels so personalized now. Best tone and portable amp on the market, period. And I’ve tried them all…Blackstar, Boss, EVH, Fender, you name it. Those portable amps feel like toys compared to the PG Mini. Love it.

First of all I am very happy with my Spark Mini. Secondly I am overjoyed I can make my own custom grill cloth for it. What a great idea by Positive Grid! I now have 3 grills made from m my photos!
The grille looked good. Wasn’t quite as bright as I would have liked. The grille mesh made it look different than I expected. But it’s not PG fault. Just keep the mesh in mind when ordering.

The build quality is outstanding. But the "feedback" echo is much more pronounced than the reviews stated. Also, if you're not a tech-type then you'll find the custom adjusting a bit irksome.
I love my Spark Amp, but finding out I could get a custom grill for it was the proverbial cherry on top.I decided to use a very old band logo I had designed, and hand painted on the back of a jacket. So, I shot a photo of it and sent it in.A week later I had my grill, it was perfectly done - the colors & details were all there. So, now my Spark is really rockin' in both sound & look.
I uploaded a couple designs, being mindful that the medium is kinda like burlap, so no real sharp ot thin lines. They turned great, and the color match to my original files is spot on. They arrived quickly too. Now my grille cloth can better suit my mood.
It looks awesome, and matches the color scheme of the pearl Spark Mini perfectly. It really should have been the default. This just feels like a way to get people to spend an extra 20 bucks.
