I hadn't even watched SPD yet, and bought Shadow Ranger. What an awesome character, and the figure captures him perfectly! This may be the ONE figure I display without the helmet, and rather the dog head. His sword and his variant morpher are great touches as well!

First of all, it is fantastic to see the Shadow Ranger as a figure so early on. This was a great choice of a figure, and the Doggie Cruger head is impressive! That being said, the figure itself is missing too many paint applications. There NEEDED to be silver on this figure. The aesthetic is totally wrong without it. Additionally there are a few minor paint flaws in the chest which I have learned is typical for this figure. Because of these issues, I have to score it lower than I would have liked to. I hope to see improvements in these two respects in the future from Hasbro.+ Character choice+ Mold+ Accessories- Paint- Quality control

Hasbro has given this franchise the love and care that it deserves and this first wave of the Lightning Collection is just the cornerstone of a new empire of Power Rangers toys.The articulation is incredible, the inclusion of an extra "civilian" head and effects parts make posing the figures for photography even more exciting. Seriously, this line is not to be missed.

I am thoroughly impressed with this figure that I have purchased. I have 2 of these figures out of the box for display, play, and photography purposes and another still in the box for display on my shelf in my bedroom. This is my most favorite figure from the Power Rangers Lightning Collection. The SPD Shadow Ranger (aka Dekamaster from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, the Super Sentai series source material for Power Rangers SPD), was the most iconic suit design in the series and the team who created this figure of him really put a lot of effort and love into the sculpt of the suit. Some of the paint color schemes leave a lot to be desired, but still at a $20 price point, the major color scheme is accurate to the actual suit. The only decent action figures of the SPD Shadow Ranger (Dekamaster) released in the United States were the Bandai America Light Patrol and Battlizer Figures and that was it. But now, an even better figure of this character is now available and it is a must-buy for any Power Rangers fan, a fan of Power Rangers SPD, or for the Super Sentai fan who loves Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. Hasbro did a wonderful job with this figure and I hope they get to make more Lightning Collection figures that will complete team rosters for the previous releases. The SPD Shadow Ranger (Dekamaster) deserves to have the entire team by his side so he won't have to fight evil alone.
Secind saw had to get. Oddly not cause of SPD but of the Japan original Sentai Deka Ranger. I have just one of the team in Figuarts form and so glad they scale together well.Boss aka DekaMaster aka Doggy Krueger aka Shadow Ranger to me is the best of the wave since can fill so many holes in a display. Love my purchase and nos I hope in some way the robodog Murphy (think just called K-9 in pr:spd geta added as an accessory with one of the other members of this team.

For example, the spd is printed on the wrong side of the sp licence, his hand thats made to hold said license is his left hand, when it should be his right, and his two finger hand ia for his right hand, but should be his left. Paint work is really good overall, though there is some paint details missing, but its minor and we all kind of expected that.My copy of this figure however fell to my curse of bad QC, something that happens to me frequently with hasbro products. Great figure overall. Great accessories, nice sculpt and articulation. Good to finally have this in figure form. Only thing is the paint is not that great. Some paint is missing, some is smudged. Looks like it was put in package before it dried.
As one of the biggest fans of Shadow Ranger, I can say that you won't feel GUILTY for purchasing this figure.The inclusion of the Doggie Cruger civilan head and neck piece is FANTASTIC. It captures the sculpt of Greg Aronowitz's design perfectly. Props to Hasbro for this. The figure articulation and detail is great.Minor gripes: there are silver paint apps missing on the forearms and badges on shoulders and helmet. It's not a deal breaker, but would be nice to see on future releases.Definitely pick this one up.

And while you're awake because he's the SHADOW RANGER! The articulation is slightly hindered due to the AMAZING armor that decorates this GORGEOUS figure. They're separate from the sculpt of the body.It's a little weird seeing Commander Kruger's head on the body of Ranger. I'd like to see a second release for Commander Doggie Kruger in his robes. Maybe even a line of Accessories.Most of all... I want action figures for the whole S.P.D. Ranger crew. They really are my favorite, even if I was completely blinded by the light during their production.I'd love to see a release of the Red S.P.D. Ranger... in my dreams... there is a second Metal Heroes series, and the Red S.P.D. Ranger realizes his life's calling-- to mentor the kids of the METAL HEROES. That's why I want a Red S.P.D.
