LOVE LOVE LOVE! Cannot say enough good things about this weight set. Bite the bullet and buy them. They are worth every penny. Take up hardly any space, easy to adjust, and comfortable to hold. I have had mine for several years and use them 3-4x week. They look great, like the day I bought them.

While these are expensive, it’s much cheaper than buying all these dumbbells individually and it saves so much space in your house. Those two things make up so much for any awkwardness in holding them. That awkwardness really only comes during goblet squats and it’s not that bad. Having the ability to go up and down in weight easily is worth it.

I have owned these for a few years now, and I love them! They take up very little space, and are easily adjustable from 3-24lbs per hand. They are a game changer for me, it is motivating to be able to use different weight and increase as you get stronger, without having to buy a full rack of weights. Would recommend these for anyone looking for minimal workout equipment, that wants to add weight to their workouts!

Best thing I like about them is the obvious there a space saver and since my bed room is my exercise space they fit under bed perfectly . I have the sport 24 powerblock they go from 6-24 pds , what I don’t like is some times when switching weight plates the fork some times doesnt go on straight If you’re not paying attention and you’re rushing fork will be on left side of Original plate and right side will be holding onto the extra plate I did it yesterday doing skull crushers and caught it after the second rep so I have to be careful . Also when needing to switch the weights when doing left and right side work it is kind of hard since your hands in a block to pass it as quick versus having an open hand weight also when I’m doing push-ups or pull ups I don’t like ... MoreBest thing I like about them is the obvious there a space saver and since my bed room is my exercise space they fit under bed perfectly . I wanted to use them a few times before I wrote this review. I've been using them for a few months now and here is some pros and cons for anyone who are on the fence.Pros:- if you are into isolated movements, they work great- it's compact and great for tight spaces- the amount of weights compared to the price is a steal- if you're a beginner in weight training, this is especially great for you- comfortable handlesCons:- if you like movements that are like cleans that require some movement from your weights, they are alright, but dumbbells are definitely preferred, the powerblocks clink a lot- some movements are hard to do because of the shape of the powerblocks- you will probably have to buy two which financially suck- if you are following a ... MoreI wanted to use them a few times before I wrote this review. Now, this is all easy when you're doing it at the beginning of a workout but if you're following a video or you're tired, it gets harder to do because your hands/arms are shaky from your workout! Also, if you have carpets, rugs or uneven floors, it gets harder to move the selector pin because the floor has to be flat or it gets tricky to get the right weight on both sides of the selector pin (the pin is shaped like a "c" so both the top and bottom part of the "c" have to be placed in the right weight line)- there is plastic. I can foresee the selector pin or even the grip part of the weight that are both plastic, eventually breaking/cracking because it is plasticWith all that being said, I would still recommend it, especially if you are tight for space or can't afford a variety of dummbells.
Bought 2 of these and have been using them for almost a year. Really fantastic if you don't have a lot of space. It's been very sturdy so far.It doesn't come with a stand, I just keep them on a piece of cardboard on the ground so it doesn't scratch my floor.Just have to make sure that when selecting the weight, the black plastic slider goes on the same row all the way in for safety.
I learned about PowerBlock from FitnessBlender. They definitely feel sturdy which is important when you have this much weight. I don't have any problems adjusting to a new weight fairly quickly between exercises.Because of their shape, they're a little trickier when I want to mount them on my shoulders for lower body exercises. Holding one dumbbell together in both hands, such as for a goblet squat, is a little more difficult than with typically-shaped dumbbells. However, the convenience and space-saving of having so many weight options in one set far outweighs any negatives. The price is also great for how many weights you get.
Because of lockdown we set up a gym corner in our appartment with standard dumbbells plates but it was so annoying to change the weight for different exercises and the plates were annoying to store. These pair or dumbbells are amazing! Really easy to change weight and it's not too bulky either when doing chest/shoulder press or bicep curls. Love it
I'm fairly new to working out, and my goal is weight loss via strength training and some cardio, using Beachbody programs like Masters Hammer & Chisel and The 21 Day Fix.I have small hands, but these fit well, and my husband can also hold them comfortably (he's not a small guy). I'm able to grip them easily in each hand, as well as use a single weight held in both hands (in a variety of ways - using the actual grip, interlocking my fingers on one end, and with one hand on each end). The adjustable mechanism is safe and secure. I haven't felt the weights shake, slip, or move during use. They are easy and fast to adjust as long as you're paying attention. At first, I wished the weight increase went by 2lb instead of 3lb; in retrospect, it's just helped me work ... MoreI'm fairly new to working out, and my goal is weight loss via strength training and some cardio, using Beachbody programs like Masters Hammer & Chisel and The 21 Day Fix.I have small hands, but these fit well, and my husband can also hold them comfortably (he's not a small guy). What a pleasant surprise, as I was expecting 5-7 days! The price was right, and I was able to use a birthday gift card so I was pretty stoked in general. While I don't have anything other than 3lb and 5lb dumbbells to compare them to, I have been impressed with every aspect of these adjustable weights - they're exactly what I wanted!
As an average adult female these are perfect for me. They don't take up much space and can be adjusted to so many different weights. They are not too long or too bulky side to side to fit past my body. There's a bit of clanging when you move them, but with music on, it's not bothersome. Great for gradually increasing weight on your usual exercises!
