Affordable and decent. Powercolor tech support and Microcenter are awesome. I cannot stress this enough. I went through two ASUS motherboards that causes several issues, and Powercolor's support really helped me diagnose the issues. And for the one problem that turned out to be GPU related, they were very supportive. That alone will make me loyal to this brand going forward. ASUS tech support spent over 3 months blaming others, refusing to answer questions, and it turned out to be their motherboards overheating components.Cannot beat their affordability, customer service, and with very good performance.

I was lucky enough to get this card at MSRP, which is still way too much for this card. I think under normal market conditions this card would be about a third less than MSRP. But given the current market situation I'm glad (and lucky) I was able to get it. For the most part this is a fast card and even though it's marketed as a 1080p card it runs most of my games at 1440p just fine. The only games that I run at 1080p are Flight Simulator and Control (turning off ray tracing would allow me to run it at 1440p easily, but I prefer the extra eye candy). It's also a compact card that is even smaller than my old R9 270X. It also uses less power than my old card did. It does have a few downsides though. Under a full load this card can get quite toasty. It's also a compact card that is even smaller than my old R9 270X. It also uses less power than my old card did. It does have a few downsides though. Under a full load this card can get quite toasty. During the winter it didn't get too bad, usually the average temperature would stay in the 70s C with the hot spot occasionally reaching into the low 90s C while playing a demanding game. Now that the weather has started to warm up those temperatures have gone up as well. I have seen the hot spot temperature hit 101 C a few times. The fans stay off until the hot spot temperature hits 60 C where they run at about 1350 RPMs. They're not too loud at that speed but at full speed they run around 1950 RPMs and are a bit loud. This card still has some of the bugs that my previous R9 270X card had. Watching video content sometimes causes a driver timeout detection and recovery with it occasionally freezing the display up and necessitating resetting the PC. The performance overlay sometimes gets set to 50% size making it impossible to read. While not a bug, OpenGL performance is still abysmal and is likely to never be improved. Ray tracing on all AMD cards isn't that great especially when compared to Nvidia's performance. With Control I have to run the game at 1080p with ray tracing maxed out and it runs around 30-40 fps. Dirt 5 uses ray tracing for shadows and runs much better, usually over 60 fps at 1440p on most tracks. Overall, I would recommend this card only if it's the best card available to buy. I would have rather had a 3060 or a 3060Ti but that simply wasn't possible, so I settled for this one.

This is designed for 1080p gaming. It works great for that purpose when paired with the right other components (I have it running with a Ryzen 5 5600x and 16G of 3200mhz RAM in an ASUS Tuf x570 MOBO. The MOBO is overkill but I got a good deal and figured I might want to OC or upgrade someday). No frills or RGB. No outsized 3-fan cooler or backplate. It just works without making a circus or much noise. This is a weaker card in some ways than the RTX 3060. In a small number of games it is stronger. At MSRP, the RTX 3060 might be the better deal, depending on what you play. But good luck getting an RTX 3060 anywhere close to MSRP these days. If you can get this for around $400, it is a great deal in the current market.

If you are willing to overlook the overpriced nature of all GPUs these days, yes, I would recommend this depending on your usage. The 6600XT is a significant upgrade for me considering my previous GPU was at GT530. It will not run the newest AAA titles on maximum settings with RT with anything close to a playable FPS. But if you have reasonable expectations as to its performance, it can be a good buy. Honestly, this is my first experience with Powercolor and AMD GPUs. The product was in stock at a (relatively) decent price which put it in the right place at the right time. I do not regret the purchase and would recommend it for people in the same situation as me. I am otherwise very satisfied with this purchase.
I purchased this card because it was the right size for my office PC. Some days I sit in my office all day with no tasks other than waiting on large deliveries to come in so I game to kill the time. I have a pavilion with a ryzen 5 5600g, 450w power supply, 16gb 3200 Ram, all OEM HP junk and this card runs GREAT in it considering. I would recommend this card to anyone with special constraints as it cools and fits well. If youre looking for a great 1080p card this is one worth considering. If youre looking to go over 1080 consider something else. This card was not cheap and for the price had I not needed its exact dimensions I would have gone with something team green.
I used this in a recent low-mid tier gaming build. It crushes games at 1080p with great frame rates and does a good job with most games at 1440p. Obviously prices are all over with graphics cards right now, but if you can get for $50-70 more than the non-XT version it's absolutely worth it. Until the 3060 comes down in price the AMD 6600 and 6600 XT are going to be the best value gaming cards. While this PowerColor version isn't much to look at, it runs cool and quiet. The default fan curve is even solid so nothing to mess with to keep the noise down. Only reason to go elsewhere is if you're doing a lot of video editing and rendering where the NVIDIA encoder is just better.
Unlike most people who will buy this card, we use this card for a production computer at our church and not for gaming. We needed something that would be dependable and be able to handle our production software. Stability is key for us as we don't want something that is going to lag or worse, crash, in the middle of a church gathering. It sends to three different display outputs while handling Propresenter 7 and runs everything great! I have been very pleased with it.
I purchased this card for my Silverstone HTPC case. The card fits nicely and runs cool. I have not had any problems with heat or fan noise. I would say this is a great card for 1080p gaming. I am using this on an old Z97-A WITH AN INTEL 4790k processor with 16 gigs of ram and a Samsung SSD. Before I installed this card, I compared the performance on my desktop which runs an Intel Z490-A with an intel 10700k processor and 16 gigs of ram and a Samsung SSD and a MSI RTX 2060 super; all settings were stock. As far as performance the Power color RX-6600XT is about even with my 2060 super My 3DMARK score for the RX6600XT was 9294 and my MSI 2060 super scored 9166; this gave the Power color an edge by 1.4 percent. If Microcenter has the ASUS NVidia GeForce RTX- 3060 ti v2 mini in stock in my opinion I believe this would be a better buy for $499.99 if you are looking for something for a small build. I just happened to be in Microcenter, and they had a open box of this item for $423.00. when this card drops to $399.00 it will be a great bargain
You cannot expect all bells and whistles for the GPU cost exactly the RRP, and the card doesn’t feel as premium as more expensive options, however PowerColor obviously didn’t cut corners provided very solid performing GPU.Pros:- Exactly 2 PCI slots wide which allows placing wifi card beneath it.- Thermals are well within limits. Never saw it hotter than 75C, which is fantastic result even for premium cards.- It is a quiet card. Firstly because of the good thermal performance, secondly because it cuts fans off when idle.- Power consumption is rather modest. Works with 550W PSU without any issues.- Single 8PIN power connector- Rather compact. I've been using this card since release and it's really good!Pros:- Small so it can fit mostly every case- Bargain Price- Better than Nvidias rtx 3060- Really good at keeping at good temps so it doesn't overheat- Very quiet fans so you probably won't hear it- Performance is great at 1080 max settings, 1440 is good but not the best but still handles games well if you put low- mid settings (not sure about 4k)- Power efficient gpu so you won't be using a lot of power and making the electricity bill crazy highCons:- No backplate for the gpu- Sometimes I hear Coil Whine when i play demanding gamesOther than that I do reccommend this card even if you want to play at 1440pIf you are looking for a cheaper alternative the rx 6600 (not the xt varient) is also ... MoreI've been using this card since release and it's really good!Pros:- Small so it can fit mostly every case- Bargain Price- Better than Nvidias rtx 3060- Really good at keeping at good temps so it doesn't overheat- Very quiet fans so you probably won't hear it- Performance is great at 1080 max settings, 1440 is good but not the best but still handles games well if you put low- mid settings (not sure about 4k)- Power efficient gpu so you won't be using a lot of power and making the electricity bill crazy highCons:- No backplate for the gpu- Sometimes I hear Coil Whine when i play demanding gamesOther than that I do reccommend this card even if you want to play at 1440pIf you are looking for a cheaper alternative the rx 6600 (not the xt varient) is also good for 1080p gaming which comes at a cheaper price.
