This is a great piece of equipment. It has a quality Aus. Approved RCD and a robust, strong, thick plastic case. Even I am going to have trouble breaking this. This is a perfect tool for taking a 10A extension cord from your house and SAFELY turning it into an RV compatible 15A plug.

This item is just great; there are similar bits of gear out there -costing a lot more $$ - that do the same job with other features (waterproof etc) but for what I needed, this one was just right.It is really the only way that you can LEGALLY protect both your van and house from an electrically ignited fire. It just isn't worth the risk of the insurance company declining your claim because you decided to "do a dodgy" and use a jury-rigged plug to go from a 15 Amp (Caravan) plug to a 10 Amp (House) plug. Lightweight, Simple to use, Ideal for camper and caravan use. Budget converter that does just as well as more expensive in cable versions. Only drawback is its a bit bulky but price saving makes up for it.
I bought this product to enable my use of a 15amp welder and it has fulfilled my need to convert from household 10 amp supply to 15amp welding requirement.
