The envelope paper was quite brittle and fits max 5mm paperwork. If you need a larger envelope I suggest B4. I wouldn't go budget recycled again.

I would normally purchase the PPS Plainface B5 Kraft Envelopes 50 Pack. I like this product due to strength and durability of the envelopes. I recently purchased this item due to no stock available at office works Kraft envelopes. These would be suitable for one page A4 documents and I would imagine these envelopes would damage easily in the post. Great they are recycled but they lack the strength of the Other B5 Kraft envelopes.
The paper of these envelopes is very thin, and there are quite large particles of foreign matter which can be unsightly. Yes they are recycled, but the paper is so thin it is easily torn, and does not stand up to the rigors of being sent through the postal system. The envelopes work fine for light use, record keeping or delivering by hand, but have poor performance through the mail with a medium to large paper load.
I bought a box of these last month and was happy with them. Have repurchased this week and the quality is very different - much thinner and lighter and not as good despite no change in price.
I bought this post items I sell and they are way too thin and I don’t trust them to be strong enough. I am using two ( one within the other ) to reinforce.
Thickness is good but seal is so bad than older version of these envelopes. We have to use sticky tape to seal them again. Or they won't stick properly.
Next purchase of C4 envelopes would be those more than 80gsm. These are far too flimsy for several documents - felt the need to put documents in sheet protector first. Would be suitable for a couple of sheets of paper, not much more. Good learning experience for me - take note of supplier specs!
