Prada Luna Rossa Carbon Eau De Toilette 50ml Spray

Strong as the darkest rock, with the freshness of air, Prada Luna Rossa Carbon brings together steam-distilled botanicals and synthetics in a mineral-forward mix. Luna Rossa Carbon brings together the metallic notes of Lavendar, green Citrus of Vert de Bergamot from Italy, Wood of Patchouli and Amber of Ambroxan. Engineered as much as designed, the bottle for Prada Luna Rossa Carbon develops the visual themes of the Prada Luna Rossa line, but using radically different materials. It has the depth of slate but with complex textures. The base of the bottle is presented in the richest of blacks; light absorbing, with a soft organic-velvet texture. The distinctive red stripe of Prada is cut into the façade of the glass by fastidious technique. Architectural and immediate, bringing balance to the form.

Luna Rossa Carbon. The opening, very fresh and bright. But soon, as it starts drying down, it turns into a very unconventional fragrance. Something very peculiar, like how a new car smells (not my words, a lady who complimented said this). Along with being floral, powdery, metallic and yet very manly . It also reminded my of the fragrance you get when one opens a very old wooden cupboard with grandfathers' /grandmothers' clothes inside. Like I said, it's nothing like you've smelled. Some say it's a much rounded version of Dior Sauvage, but I haven't tried it. It turns into a close to skin scent in a couple of hours. But anyone in your periphery does definitely ask you about it. I wear it post a workout-shower and at work.

This fragrance is an absolute dumb reach fragrance that will work in any situation and any season. It has TopNotes of bergamot and pepper, middle notes of lavender, metallic notes, “coal”, and watery notes, and base notes of ambroxan and patchouli. This is a very pleasant fragrance that leans very masculine and does not really evolve with wear. The aroma maintains a consistent scent and lasts on my skin a full work day. Projection is strong the first 2 to 3 hours for me and then begins to reel in for the rest of the duration of wear. Did you have a nice scent cloud about arms length with 3-4 sprays. I love this stuff. Influenster sent me a sample but I already have a bottle for myself. I will warn that this is a scent that you may become anosmic to with consistent wear because of the ambroxan base. I wore this for a month straight at work and by the end of two weeks I was finding myself needing to add more sprays for me to smell it. One day I came into work with 5 sprays and one of my coworkers about 5 feet away from me complained about someone’s cologne and it was choking her out. Oops. So yeah. Be careful with your sprays. Just cause you can’t smell it doesn’t mean others can’t either. Overall, an absolutely incredible scent. I would rotate it with another scent every other week to refresh the nasal receptors though.

Sauvage’s opening is both sharp and airier, less grounded in dark lavender, and honestly with a less realistic bergamot, but with its peppery notes already in place. That pepper carries Sauvage quickly into its post-fresh drydown which is rough, peppery, a bit sweaty, and with a distinct dryer sheet “puff” effect. It lacks the scratchy woody-amber base of Sauvage, and honestly beyond an initial family similarity, the two go down different roads. If you've heard of this fragrance, you've heard the comparisons to Sauvage. Carbon strikes me as the smoother and more refined of the two, smelling a bit more natural. Overall a fantastic fragrance to own for anybody looking to appeal to everyone.

If your like me and like Dior savage but don't like how abrasive and in your face it is here is a lovely alternative. The opening of this scent is lovely and to me is the most complex of the "Prada Luna Rossa Line". A fresh, spicy, aromatic, and forest type of scent with some Dior Savauge vibes, thanks to the lavender used in both scents. As it drys down the scent takes a turn helping reassure the complexity of this scent, losing its Dior savauge similarity and becoming darker. With a type of earthy, citrus, and woodiness scent profile. It changes a lot from the opening to dry down but still smells great threw out its life none the less. You can use it for anything. Casual day, formal, date, work, night out, wedding, get together with family, part and so on. It's extremely versatile and in my opinion, a safe blind buy. You won't be offending anyone with Carbon. It's forward with Lavender, watery notes and coal; given it a dark but smooth touch. Okay, how does it shape up with DIOR Sauvage EDT? I prefer the smell of Carbon more, likely because it focuses stronger on Lavender (a note I love) while Sauvage is more on the pepper and metallic notes. Performance and sillage, Sauvage is way better. Carbon I get 7 hours, Sauvage I get 12 hours. I do tend to use Carbon when I am going to be indoors more, and I go with Sauvage when I have a day out. I see myself wearing Sauvage EDT a lot more near the Wintertime because it packs that punch. However, both can be used in any season. Using Prada Carbon: Any Season, lay off in the Winter / Indoors Three words to describe Prada Carbon: Dark / Smooth / Sexy As I said, if you are more of an introverted person, but want to smell good: I present to you Prada Carbon. Carbon is tall, lean, with a swimmer's build and dark chestnut hair. He emerges from the water as you sit in your beach chair, walking towards you with intent and want. He grabs your hand and leads you to the nearby beach bungalow for a secret kiss away from others' eyes. This juice delivers a punch of lavender floating in a bowl of citrus water. The scents are being filtered through a wall of sheer lavender as it fades to the back and allows the peppery notes to dance on lavender leaves. After your kiss, Carbon ushers you into an antique Alfa Romeo Giulia 1.6 spider and you drive along the Gulf of Salerno; the Tyrrhenian Sea in the air, and the sun warming your flesh. This juice has an earthiness on my skin, but I contribute that to patchouli more than the stated coal and soil tincture, and that is a letdown. As I told my friend @trillnoel on a live the other night, I adore soil notes in a fragrance, so Carbon's kiss was a disappointment. At this moment I am enjoying the Giulia more than him. I do enjoy this fragrance and always see the best in the juice and as I sit here writing, I need another spray to enjoy the veiled lavender ride it took me on initially. Carbon is fleeting. He is married and just in Italy for business. Hoping for a tryst with a beautiful creature such as yourself. I do not complain about longevity of fragrances, spray more, but I am let down by Carbon as he shows me what can manifest beyond the sunset coast but leaves me with the dinner ticket after our short encounter. #mrcologne76 #fragcomm

This is a really nice, all time all season fragrance. It got that Ambroxan as a base note, and bergamot as a top note. It’s a compliment getter, you’re gonna get tons of compliments with this! This is a take on sauvage from Prada. They kinda talk that sauvage DNA and pradatize it, make it more soapy. They also successfully smoothed that harshness that comes with sauvage and smoothed it up. However the main difference between this and sauvage is this lavender note that you’re gonna smell, which in my opinion makes it only better! This is probably one of the best sauvage clones, in fact, some people like me might prefer this over sauvage. The only drawback with carbon is the performance. Do not expect performance like sauvage, it will give you 6 hours.

I received these products for free from Influenster and Prada in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately, the sample size that was provided was so small that it required a microscope to locate it inside of the Influenster box. Nice addition to the Prada Collection

I love lavender and bergamot so I wasn’t surprised that I liked this fragrance but I was surprised at how much I was enjoying the woody notes from the patchouli and amber. I don’t usually gravitate towards any fragrances with those two scents but I feel like their addition added a warmth that makes this an appropriate winter fragrance. My fiancé was also surprised that he liked it as much as he did. We both tend to prefer clean, fresh scents (some fruity florals for me) so this was a welcome change. This fragrance does remind me of other colognes that are currently available. If you are a fan of the scent notes, are looking for a warmer fragrance for the winter, or simply looking for something outside of your comfort zone, try this fragrance. We didn’t receive an actual bottle as we received a sample sized tester so I can’t compliment on the actual bottle but it looks nice.

Superb alternative to Sauvage
2 December 2022

This certainly does smell a bit like Dior Sauvage, especially in the opening. However, Carbon is smoother than Sauvage EDT, so I think in that regard Carbon is actually a bit closer to Sauvage EDP.However, while Carbon does share the ambroxan note with Sauvage, it is subtler snd in exchange features a heavy lavender scent during the drydown. So, if you like lavender, you'll love this drydown. If not, you'd probably prefer Sauvage EDP. Either way, this scent is inoffensive, clean, and projects better than average for me, so I love it.
