I sniffed this first a couple of weeks ago while I did some window shopping in a department store. I am a total fan of all things Prada, but wasn’t impressed by this fragrance on the first blind try. It has decent to good longevity I would say between 6-8 hours. The projection is decent too it’s not gonna overpower an entire room, but when you walk past you will be stopped for compliments. It really is something unique for this brand as it has touches of modern current perfume trending notes (suede, pepper, sage, and lavender) but also adds classic notes of the brand (iris, vetiver, patchouli, and musk) as tribute to some of Prada’s best colognes. I really want to stress to not be discouraged by what you may smell at a store at first. Wear it. Don’t sleep on this fragrance guys it’ll be huge when people discover it and give it a chance. This is really a precious gem in the midst of many generic copies.

I am thrilled about this product and I'm going to recommend it to everyone i can. I seen the commercial 1 day after receiving it, you know the commercial with Jake Gyllenhaal and i was thinking wow that's who i smell like today, literally but kinda sorta better because maybe he just did the commercial for other reasons or maybe he doesn't even really wear or use the cologne. either way you go when you wear it spray it under your shirt like a in on your body because that brings out a scent of your own with the scent of the cologne. I also think this makes the cologne last a lot longer and by the way one pump is more heavier then i thought but i still find myself using 2 pumps and the scent lasts all day long. The day after the scent does still linger and the smell is lesser then fresh out of the bottle but i think that it smells even better then fresh out of the bottle because it's mixed with your own scents and is more infused maybe within you and just brings out a great scent that you'll remember for ever kinda like every time you see someone you get a certain scent or memory. This is the cologne i will wear every day every night as i would want people to remember me by the event of "Damn if i can't take him home, I'm going to try to steal his Hoodie". Ladies will fall in love with this scent on a man but absolutely hate it if their man wears it while not around her. Another thing i must point out is that you don't have to be rich to enjoy what I'm going to try to explain next... So i got a shower before i put this stuff on and i wasn't going out to meet people i was going in towork (not office work) and i got out of the shower sprayed it on my chest not my shirt. Then i did the rest of my usual routine of getting ready but i noticed that somehow I looked the same as normal but when i smelled myself it made me feel better and then over-all made me look better even though i wasn't wearing new threads or didn't have a new look but i really felt like i was doing something behind my girlfriend's back. The Next day which was 2nd time wearing it i picked up some drinks at a local store and the lady who rang me up asked "What time should i stop over" and i knew that it had to be the cologne. My experience with prior Parada products has always been pleasant. The aesthetics and packaging have always rivaled those offered by other couture houses. Likewise, Prada leaves no stones unturned in the packaging and presentation of this cologne. Certainly an expected experience from Prada. The cologne itself is pleasant with the typical citrusy, herbal, and floral notes that you find in fragrances like these. I was hard-pressed to think whether or not if this scent was unique in any way or had just been repackaged scent that I had been wearing since 2015/2017 (cue: Dior’s Sauvage). I'm a big fougere fan, but unfortunately this fragrance didn't exactly meet the mark for me, though I can see how many people would like it. The notes I smell the most when I first spray this fragrance are iris, lavender, and suede. I'm a big fan of the lavender note and I feel like it's a bit clouded by the other notes in this fragrance. Vetiver and musk are the highlights of the dry down to my nose. This fragrance lasts pretty long. I can get a good 6-7 hours+ of projection out of it before it becomes a skin scent. "A Great New Blue"

In my opinion this product deserves 5/5 stars because I think it accomplishes what it sets out to do. Whether or not it is the right scent for you is always a different story. It includes a very interesting saffron note which adds a very unique complexity. It dries down to a very well-developed musk. Don't be fooled by the name though as it is not an aquatic fragrance as they tend to go. I can see why they'd choose to associate the ocean with this scent however. The longevity is good considering the fragrance notes are not heavy ones. It lasted 4-6 hours on my skin. In conclusion, any fragrance collection absolutely requires a blue fragrance to be relevent and this one is a great choice if you want to stand out from the usual suspects. Check out Ashton's review over at Gent's Scents for a second opinion. I'll add a photo of his thumbnail. He's very experienced in fragrance and this fragrance really ends up growing on him.

Accessible and refined

So I had the chance to test this Fragrance out. If you did not know the Luna Rosa line, it is kinda Prada's answer to Dior Sauvage line. Fresh smelling with some musk with the inclusion of Ambroxan. This is at least going off of there other offerings Prada Lunna Rossa Carbon. While I was let down by the Carbon line I was pleasantly won over by Rossa Ocean. I really am not gung-ho over blue fresh smelling fragrances usually. I mean they have there place and nice to have something you can throw on anywhere and have mass appeal with it's fresh smelling. That is what you get and more with this. Soap shower gelly, with some citrus off the top like bergamot. Has a little floral notes I picked up like some iris/lavender. Longevity and performance where both above average. Compliment factor, if you care about that sort of thing is good. I had a work training that lasted a few weeks and had all the same people. I decided to do an experiment. I wore different scents each day. Scents included Dior Sauvage, Dior homme Intense, Valentino Uomo intense, La Nuit de l'homme, Ysl Y edp, Armani Acquadigio Profumo, and even Blue de Chanel. For what it's worth, the only day I got compliments was the day I wore this Lunna Rossa Ocean, and I got three completely separate remarks to boot. This is definitely not my personal favorite of my collection, again my preference is not for mass appealing fresh scents. But for what it is, I can't help recommend it. If you are looking for a non offensive scent that will make you smelling fresh and yet defined with some level of refinement, this is some pretty good juice.

Ocean Breeze in ATL

The bottle keeps the collections facade, with a deep cutting cobalt ombré colorization. Definitely makes one think of water, the deep, darkest, blue, depths of the ocean. The scent itself is leathery and spicy. The slight citrus cut gives what reminds you of the late night ocean breeze. The scent reminds me of nights as a teen on the beaches in Rhode Island around a fire. The vetiver definitely grounds the fragrance giving it the down to earth, woodsy, and leathery punch, that would give anyone looking for that profile a well rounded fragrance.

You get what you pay for!

This Cologne Prada Ocean was sent to me as a free sample. It was divinely intoxicating the first time I sprayed it. The name Ocean had my thought of it as being more of a fresh smell. In my experience with designer cologne I haven’t ever had one that didn’t need spraying on a garment to still be noticed, much less a whole week later. I will say given the rich smell of You get what you pay for, that I find myself liking it worn more so in the evening and with my attire that isn’t for everyday wear. This scent is to special in my view to be wasted if employment or regular activities cause profuse sweating and or gritty work. Although, it has such sensual qualities. For myself The size of this bottle if I were purchasing may be a bit big. It is fine if using a bottle up until gone then starting another. Personally, I relish variety and that engenders the direction of my purchasing toward bottles not so big, as overtime it would not be as pungent if not used and therefore go to waste. I absolutely would buy this without question. I thought wow if this is what Prada is like Yes Please. It is worthy to mention this is the most expensive cologne I have ever worn. Given the lengthy lasting scent and so little that need be used I now understand Why the name has such clout. Prada Ocean Would be hard for anyone not to like
