If Prada intended Paradoxe to capture the transformation of a woman, from a fruity sweet teenager to a more confident, sophisticated middle ages woman to the classic cliché scent powdery vanilla musk that reminds me of every woman I met growing up who was older than 70. I arrived at work smelling like a bubblegum sweet teenager, by lunch I enjoyed the more appropriate softer orange blossom, Neroli and hint of sultry Amber, then when I finally got home to my fiance I smelled like a 90 year old woman. Paradoxe embodies the entire lifespan a women goes through as she matures from young girl, to adult to mature woman, all in one fragrance. Definitely changes too much for me when I have 10 other powdery floral musks that have come out in last few years.

I love more of a woodsy, musk aroma vs fruity. Anything to sweet and pungent gives me a migraine so I have to be careful when choosing. Thoughts: The aroma is so light but yet deep and powerful. It truly changes aroma from person to person. Our chemistry interacts and changes how it smells on each person. If you love a musk, woodsy, scent, you will definitely love this. It only took 1 spritz and it lasted all day. This is made with oils vs alcohol so you want have to worry about it vanishing after an hour of wear. Plus its refillable!

This is a simple and classic perfume that can easily become a signature scent. This is also a perfect scent to transition into Fall.

This is actually my first Prada perfume, and probably the only one I would wear, but they got this one right. The bottle is the infamous triangle, and the juice is this lovely pale pink. It’s extremely ascetically pleasing on the visual end, and looks great at the front of my collection. This has been put into my rotation extremely fast lol. I would say this fragrance is perfect for date night, going out with the girls, shopping, work even, it’s a multi use fragrance. I love how the trail just lingers when I walk by someone. I would get this instead if you are even considering that because this projects sooo much better. Love don’t be shy needs to be re-applied rather sooner than later. And this is half the price. I would also say it smells like Valentino Born in Roma, it really smells like it could be it’s twin sister. If you are a fan or even considering any of the two then I’d highly recommend this instead to you!. The Top notes are Pear, Tangerine and Bergamot. For sensuality and musk, Prada has incorporated two special accords - one of Amber and one of Intense White Musks. Commingling in a paradoxical union, these accords create an exciting, vibrant aroma that embodies a youthful, aspirational abundance. Any time we’re in the business of florals and musks, I’m usually sold. However, I think the Amber accord here just takes this tried and true combination to a whole new level. What I think of as I smell this perfume on my wrists: handbags that cost more than my rent, a phone case for every occasion, and sunglasses worth $25,000 (bonus points if you get that last reference). If you are a Prada fan, just do yourself a favor and get this fragrance. You won’t be disappointed.
