A great standby with great earthy tones

When I got into coloring with markers, I started with prismacolor markers, if only because I found a 24 pack for an absurd deal. But since that day? I don't go a picture without using them.Compared to some other brands of markers, prismacolors don't go as bright, but the rich earthy tones are the best of any marker. And they last twice as long as other high marker brands and are half the price! If you draw earthy, natural pictures or Tabletop RP characters wearing leather? Grab some prismacolors! You'll have a lovely piece on your hands!

These Prismacolor Premier Brush, Fine Art Markers, Fine Point Type, 152 Carton are amazing. I love how there are two sides to this marker. The fine point of this marker is wonderful for details. My daughter loves to create art and with these markers, you can create so much so she spends so many hours using these markers which is fabulous. These markers are great for blending and for outlining as well. I highly recommend this product.

I love prismacolor markers! I have experimented with promarkers and copics as well, but prismacolor markers stand above the rest! The wide color range and blendablity are superb. And now that they come with a brush tip these markers are CLOSE to perfect. There are however a few downsides. They are labeled with a completely nonsensical numbering system so unlike copics they aren't labeled in any sort of natural family order. They also aren't refillable, so once a marker is dead you are forced to buy a new one.I personally have also had some issues with the loose markers I've purchased coming uncapped during shipping, none of them have been dried out but I wish they were packaged a bit more securely. However, the quality is amazing and the price is absolutely ... MoreI love prismacolor markers! Copic vs. Prismacolor
28 October 2022

Past Copic marker user - nothing but the best. Prismacolor are a good second best but are not refillable. Colors more on muted side (also in comparison to Copic markers). Brush tip and pointed tip are comparable.

Good introduction to alcohol based markers.

I purchased the two 24 marker sets; assorted and portrait. My only complaint about the sets is there is a three marker overlap between the two. I probably should have been more thorough in confirming the lack of redundant colors, and I also wish Prismacolor would offer more medium sized sets such as these (with no overlap) to build my collection gradually as other competitors seem to offer more options in this range. What I'm particularly finding myself lacking is greyscale and paler colors as the assorted color set included mostly deep vibrant hues.As far as the markers are concerned the brush tip is excellent and for my own drawing style I appreciate that this particular marker has a brush and bullet nib as most of the competitors combine brush with chisel. I am definitely an art marker amateur but so far the Prismacolors seem to offer vibrant, smooth colors at a affordable price.

I love Blick and your products
2 March 2022

I love Blick! I use the Prisma Markers everyday! I have had my set of 200 (or around there) for years, and recently I needed 3 colors that I used so much that I ran out of ink! Blick had the best prices around, (with a great discount)I checked other retailers and they either didn't have the one I needed or they were to expensive. I'm definitely going to need more markers, so I'm definitely going to order again! I am entering #sweepstakes so if I win that will be amazing!

Loyal to a good brand
4 November 2022

Prismacolor has held up their quality throughout the years. They were recommended to me a long time ago. Once the ink ran out of my original pack, I repurchased them for my current art class. The colors are hearty and vibrant. I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.

Wonderful!
26 April 2021

I use these markers for illustration. I was severely lacking in my grays, so I bought one of each warm gray, cool gray, along with a French and neutral gray (for good measure). They draw and blend beautifully! Even better than I expected, and I expected a lot!The only thing negative I would have to say is the color printed on the marker itself isn't accurate- some are printed wonky or washed out, as if whatever printed the color on the marker was running out of ink- but as long as I can read the name, I won't get them mixed up. It doesn't affect the quality of the ink itself, so it doesn't bother me at all.

fab pens I now have all of them
24 April 2019

buying then thru Dick Blick means I got them cheaper since I didn't buy the entire set, I skipped on the extra grays and skin tones. I love these matters! These don't show lines in coloring, and the same blender pen works on the prismacolor pencils as week as these markers. There is a learning curve to blending, see you tube videos for help. I highly recommend these for another reason. The brush tips don't wear it the first time you use them like the Tombows. I have used then many hours now and there's no breakdown of the brush tip. That's a good deal 😄 Buy them you will be happy you did!

i love Prismacolor markers
26 April 2021

I've always loved Prismacolor markers. I use them for adult coloring even though they are artist grade markers. They are alcohol-based markers and so they bleed through paper. The marker's ink is very vibrant and rich. They have a dual end with a brush tip and a fine tip. The brush tip seems to release ink quicker than the finer tip - with that in mind I tend to use the brush tip side for larger areas and the fine tip for smaller details since I can control the ink lay-down better. The markers, unlike other name-brand artist grade markers, are NOT refillable. This set is a good basic set for someone who's just starting out with them. It gives you the core colors needed to produce some beautiful art whether you're into adult coloring, scrapbooking, or more detailed ... MoreI've always loved Prismacolor markers.
