It has been a while since I used Proactiv, so I was really curious to check out their new product in this voxbox. I haven't used it a very long time, but definitely plan on giving a follow-up review. So far, I like that the product goes on and actually seems to penetrate my skin. It makes me feel like it ACTUALLY might work. There is no sticky residue or anything in a minute or so. The smell isn't wonderful, but that goes away pretty quickly too. I follow up with my moisturizer and SPF. I like how soft it made my skin feel. I deal with texture issues and scarring so it was nice to touch my face and actually feel a difference. It is also a small size, which is perfect for throwing in a purse or travel bag. I have been using this for a few weeks and am surprised to see that some of my scarring has definitely faded! Glad I was able to give this a try. I’m very familiar with the brand proactiv as I’ve been a long time user of it since my teenage years. This product is a great concept and I’ve been using it for around 3 weeks on my recent acne scars and hyperpigmentation. I’ve only noticed a small improvement this far, but I also haven’t been using it consistently. The scent is something I don’t think I can get past. It’s just not very pleasant, I think if the scent is improved i would be way more enthused to use this product.

Acne problem?

I have acne scar problem that I'm trying to solve. I was so excited to be gifted by proactiv.The cream ingredients consist of Bakuchiol, a plant based alternative to retinol that helps with resurfacing and reduced the appearance of uneven texture.I've used it for 7 days in am PM routine but I see minimal difference to my acne scar.

Quick and easy with automatic payments and delivery every 3 months with no issues! The product took a couple weeks to see any results, but 100% a noticeable amazing change with my teenage daughter. I love how she can customize the product to her skin type as needed! Thank you Proactiv!

Doesn’t work

I cancelled this subscription a long time ago. I moved out of state to Arkansas. And just now noticed (after I saw these emails about a review) that my account had been charged and apparently this thing reactivated. The products did nothing to my son’s acne, not even the spot treatment, now he is left with a bunch of scars as I waited too long to see if the products would actually work. He is seeing a dermatologist now. So to have even more of this product is not what I wanted at all

Don’t use this product.

I had very deep acne scars after dealing with cystic acne for 5 plus years. This stuff just made my face soft. If you’re looking for a cream that’s actually going to improve your acne scars, use the Differin Scar Resurfacing gel. After 3 months of consistent use AM/PM my scars have faded almost completely. One more month and I’ll bet their gone. I know why you all are here. Go get Differin!!!!

I was having terrible breakouts,

I was having terrible breakouts, redness, puffiness, lots or clusters of blackheads and pimples and I didn’t think it was going to work, because nothing else had worked. I tried it anyway and I’m in love with the results iv gotten so far!I’m at the stage that happens at 4/5 weeks. When the breakouts come back and seem to worsen but aren’t. I’m excited to see the finished product!

Made my face purge horribly

I had clear skin with some scars and I started using this as an exciting natural retinol to my routine. Within two months my face has broken out in horrible cystic acne all over down to my jaw. I currently have stopped it as I was so uncomfortable and in so much pain. Do not use if you’re acne prone honestly. Unless you’re ready for MONTHS of horrible break outs, pain, and a lot of mental trials. Definitely will not use again !

Stubborn Spots be Gone

This stuff started fading some of my most stubborn post-acne scars in a week. They're not entirely gone but I can already see a difference in some of my longest-lasting spots. My only issue is that it dried out my skin a little bit, however, it's nothing a good moisturizer can't fix! I'm so happy I got this complimentary from Proactiv.
