Have not been able to use it yet. - about a month. Putting it together- extremely difficult. Yet no additional videos on certain parts, except for one video, that makes it look easy. First off I have smaller fingers than guy in the video. I’d love to see him actually put one together. Especially near the front where I can barely fit my hands. So yeah, this is definitely going back for a different brand.

After a month my wife was having issues

I am very disappointed with the product. A month after purchasing, my wife complained of knee pain. She ended up going to physical therapy, an orthopedic doctor and having injections in both knees and everything is due to the machine. Not well suited for building up muscles and puts a great strain on the knees.

Good, but quality not so good

It’s a great machine, but was making some weird noises and resistance was very hard. After a few days, and searching on internet, found some potential sources of the issue, which helped me discover that the rod from the resistance motor to the magnets wasn’t fitted correctly, so the magnets rubbed on the flywheel at high settings and didn’t move completely away from the flywheel at low settings. Fixed that, and now it the grinding noise is gone, and the resistance works properly… goes down to no resistance now, instead of only down to half resistance. Then a squeak developed, which seems to have gone now after sraying some WD40 into the rod link hinges. Seems that these machines are not assembled very well judging by my experience, and reviews on the internet.

Great Trainer - if it would work!
22 September 2021

Just purchased this Proform Carbon Hiit H7. The assembly was easier than the Proform treadmill, and bike I've purchased in the past. First the machine wouldn't turn on, some of the wires were loose on the connection, then five minutes into the first workout with iFit, the resistance was added automatically and something in the gears seized. The Proform Hiit trainer doesn't work now

Great overall fitness
8 May 2022

Have had the machine a few days & loving it already. Hardest thing was getting it into the house & putting it together. Can't say that I enjoyed that part of the process 🤪. Love it's small footprint & now that it's in & positioned in a convenient & visible spot, I love that I can just hop on it, low fuss & it's ready to go. Tried the ifit app today for the 1st time. Easy to link up & I think it will be worthwhile doing the recorded workouts to keep good habits. Thanks gymandfitness for stocking a great, solid machine that feels like it'll serve me well long term.

Pretty great.
24 December 2021

It's a great workout and quiet enough that no matter what time I want to workout I don't wake anyone, not even the dog. Takes getting used to because it focuses on muscle groups that I don't normally hit. I wish the training screen was easier to navigate but then again I just hoped on it, didn't read the directions so that's on me. Only 4 stars because the IPad holder isn't included.

Think more than twice before purchasing

Do not waste your money on this machine. Purchased mine 3 years ago directly from Proform, it came broken. Moving forward with multiple service tech visits (and no shows) I'm still having the same problems. My machine is currently sitting in pieces in my livingroom from one tech to another for well over 8 months with multiple repair parts accumulating from numerous techs ordering parts. When contacting their basic customer service through icon (which has been changed multiple times through proform, Nordic trac ect.) They become more difficult to get through to. I did purchase an extended warranty. I recommend steering clear of this machine and possibly this company all together. It's unfortunate, because it's an amazing idea that can't fly. Also, their bots repeat the same questions and make you provide a lot of info before they talk to you. It disconnects directly at 6pm PST. TIP: Keep your serial number, model number, SO order number, service job number and all personal information available or they won't speak to you at all. They are rude.

Works well until it doesn't
23 December 2021

After a year, my HIIT ground to a halt. Four months later and after four Pro-Form repair visits, the machine is still not functioning. The machine worked for a couple of days after the last repair, then the pedals fell to the floor during a work-out. I have escalated the issue to IFit's senior management. Apologies, but still no resolution. I's suggest looking at products/companies with stronger customer service.

well built, lousy controls
6 February 2021

pros: very sturdy, good range of resistance, ok fan.cons: control panel is an android tablet that must be unplugged after each use. it takes several minutes to boot. There no basic pre-loaded workouts. The only options are manual or to watch some trainer go through a course. iFit membership includes several workouts, but you must open each one and scroll down to see what the resistance pattern is. The tablet sometimes fails to connect and is always slow. They could have put some basic workouts without the video instructors.
