Steamed halibut with miso and scallions, five spice salmon, shrimp with old bay seasoning. Let's not forget fresh steamed asparagus, green beens or Brussel sprouts.

I used steamer bags but they are now hard to find and expensive so I tried this. I love it, but be cautious when taking out of the microwave. Steam seeps out the sides and is extremely hot. Very easy to clean and only takes 3-5 minutes to steam frozen meats/fish.

I just bought this and I made my first salmon in it, and honestly I never had a more perfectly cooked piece of fish. It was flaky, and tasted so buttery and good. Honestly, I want to order this for all my friends and family. Being able to cook a healthy meal in a short amount of time, is ideal for our busy world.

This is just what I needed to make steamed vegetables and more! Simple to use and easy to clean. I read all of the reviews before buying this product. People complained that the top didn’t fit tightly. That’s okay because it’s not supposed to. Thanks
I finally used this steamer in my microwave to cook fish recently. I was shocked that it was done in 3 mins. Would have been good if in the instructions they said close or slightly leave open the steam vent to cook the fish but they didn't. The vent opening was only mentioned for veggies. I really like this steamer but didn't like how my microwave was left smelling and making everything else smell and taste like fish. So yeah I had to really clean the microwave to eliminate the fish smell and taste. I still recommend this product!
I put the water in (cover the bottom) and cook it on high with nothing in the steamer for a couple of minutes. Then I put the food in (tamales, corn, asparagus, brusselies, etc...) and cook at 60%, usually for around 8 minutes). Tough to tell what is cooking the food more - the steam or the microwave. Just turn the heat down when you add food and let the steam work. 5* baby!
Had one of these for years. It finally wore out. Very glad to find it again at Everten.These are excellent microwave steamers (for more than just fish).Online experience with Everten was also excellent. Happy customer.
I tried several other brands and this is the best. Some don’t have a deep enough tray for when I steam frozen vegetables that have large broccoli and cauliflower pieces. It’s long enough for asparagus.
The title says it all. A good product, easy to use, and steaming cooks things fast. Corn on the cob can be cooked in 3--4 minutes to perfection, as can many other things, in the microwave.
