I was becoming sleep deprived due to my severe night sweats and hot flashes. Since I did not want to take the synthetic hormone route, my doctor recommended that I find a product containing red clover. I found Promensil and I am really glad I did. After just 2 weeks, my night sweats have practically disappeared, my hot flashes have diminished in frequency and severity, and my sleep quality has improved substantially. It definitely works for me!

I was so glad when my doctor put me onto promensil for my peri-menopause. Id been struggling with hot flushes for the past 12 months and taking just one tablet a day stopped it. 12 months on, it has crept up on me a bit more, so I take one in the morning and one in the evening and it has calmed back down again. I would absolutely recommend promensil and cheaper buying from eBay. Chemist is too expensive. You can also get them in double strength which I will do when I order my next box, as thats what I need now.

I switched to this brand but have yet to feel it’s effectiveness. It’s disappointing that it’s suggested that it may take up to 60 days use before the product starts to work in your system. I am a few weeks into using this product but may need to switch to a faster acting product. In the meantime I am still suffering from the symptoms that this product is supposed to alleviate.
Following suggestion from the GP I take Promensil, vitamins, evening primrose oil 1300mg and omega 3 (I take the vegan one by together health) and my I feel that my menopause symptoms are slightly improved. No hot flushes and I'm sleeping a bit better too, I also feel a bit less foggy headed.
I started taking these 10 days ago, on the advice of the very nice lady in the shop in Ebbw Vale, she told me they should take 3-5 days to start taking effect! I am on my tenth day and my flushes are horrendous, more in the day and awful at night. As I am about two years into the menopause and I know my flushes are constantly changing, I have weeks with nothing then terrible weeks, it is impossible to say really that they are worse, but the are certainly no better HELP!!! I'm exhausted :-(
I commenced this in tandem with a few other recommended products. I have been taking it for nearly 3 weeks. My daily sweats have reduced to warm glows. I am still warm during the night but no really awful episodes requiring clothing changes.
Recommended . Value for money. I can't take HET and my GP recommend them for hot flushes. But they also stop my horrendous mood swings from suicidal to homicide
While not huge tablets, I bought these because I have difficulty swallowing tablets and the image on the front of the sealed box suggested this was a small round tablet. The tablets inside are larger and oval shaped which I have to break in half. I realise the tablet size won’t affect everyone but it is important to those who do need smaller tablets. Maybe the packet images could show the actual size of the product?
Only been taking these a week feel better already my legs and hip don't ache at night as much as they did so I'm sleeping better, don't seem to have cravings so don't feel i'm eating as much and feel calmer in myself. I wasn't sure which strength to get so as on 3 for 2 offer got both 40 and 80mg and alternate them daily. May just get the 80mg next time no point paying for 40mg and taking 2 a day they would only last 15 instead of 30 days.
