Driving even a short distance with a set of singing roof racks fixed to your vehicle can be a headache inducing ordeal, and long distance can be simply unbearable. Features such as integrated tie down points and inlayed rubber 'load strips' have been introduced to the HD to remove some of the hassle from transporting a load. The HD is also designed to work with Smart Foot Technology allowing easy adjustment between vehicles, as well as lockable covers on the supports. The biggest feature however is the owl wing bar shape that gives the HD its legendary 70% drag reduction over standard roof racks. Not only will this give any tradesperson a big reduction in noise, but also a bit more in the hip pocket at the service station. Still, don't think you're sacrificing strength for the quiet design, the Prorack HD still holds a massive 100kg of tools and equipment without an issue. Though it is still worth consulting with your vehicles manufacturer to check the maximum load rating of your roof, before you start loading the racks up.
