Good Stuff in a Can

I have to admit I'm partial to the Proraso tube cream. It just seems a bit creamier and has a stronger scent. But for convenience & speed, the can is great. This is much better quality than Barbasol. For display I like the traditional Proraso red & white shown here- (newer cans have green, red & white stripes). If you are wondering which type gives the best shave- soap, tube cream or cannister- TUBE shaving cream is the best whether applying it with your fingers or a brush. I have tried them all. Absolute best IMO is " Real Shave Cream Company" made in England. But I use Proraso all the time for quality & value.

Good price

This is a spicy woody scent, suitable for winter. Nothing groundbreaking. Soft scent. Not my absolute favorite, but a good scent for the office

I like Prorazo Shave Cream!

it is expensive yes,, but it touches my face every day and I'm worth it! the smell feel and glide of the razor all Good! I found this in Canada as it was one of the only choices at the local store near where I was working and I was hooked. I have used the red, a regular barber smelling cream the white for sensitive skin a smooth finish and green menthol which really leaves your face cool and slightly numb, not my thing but interesting. My fav is the red and the white in the winter to help with dry skin. A can lasts for 4 months but I have a beard.. I shave around. Try it you might like it. and it's Italian!

Intense Menthol

This product has more menthol kick (by a factor of 10) than anything on the shelves in the US. Seriously, it is like putting Vicks Vapo-Rub on your face. Incredibly intense. It also works great as a shaving foam, but it has a drying effect on the skin, which is my only reservation. I recommend buying the smaller size at first to see if it suits your needs.

L'eau D'Issey

I enjoy and have used this men's fragrance for years. I was told about fragrances (colognes, perfumes) that there are four basic fragrances that are blended to make specific colognes/perfumes. For my body chemistry, citrus is the best fragrance, musk/sandalwood blended with my body oils do NOT provide a pleasant fragrance! This cologne by Mistake does have a basic citrus scent, A gua D'Gio also. This particular bottle is a tester without a box. The fragrance is,of course, L'eau D'Issey, but it did not have a s strong of the citrus component and when I applied it, resulted in a bit of stronger musk. It is a great fragrance, perhaps the absence of a protective box, possibly method of storage was the cause. Nice scent for spring and summer.

Pleasant scent for warmer weather. Very inoffensive. Decent longevity. Doesn't project like a monster, but good for the office. Happy with the results for the price I paid.

Texture is good, but barely a hint of sandalwood if that

Even though my sense of smell is weaker than average, I was expecting even a whiff of sandalwood, of which there is hardly the ghost of a whisper. However, the can is large & the foam is creamier than the plastic aerated rubbish from cheaper supermarket brands.

Well worth it!

I've had problems shaving for a long time until I was given an expensive foam and balm as a gift which ended the after shave irritation and ingrown hairs. So there are good products, but I couldn't afford $25 for a puny can of shave foam, I don't care how good it works. So about 15 years ago I discovered the Proraso line, it's seems pricey, but not really when you consider how good this stuff is and how long one can lasts. I shave about 3-4 times a week and this large can will last easily over six months. I hated paying for replacement razors to the point I bought a super high quality 3-piece safety razor ($30) with a box of 100 blades for $7. I still use the safety razor which is like new and I'm maybe half way through my 100 blades. You actually don't mind shaving. I put a golf ball size amount of foam in my palm and use a nice shaving brush to apply it. This foam is so thick and creamy! I also use Proraso aftershave. I can shave everyday if I wanted too. No way could I do that before because I'd be cutting all the razors bumps and make my neck look terrible and no more ingrown hairs too!! I'll be using this line until I die and wouldn't consider another. Check out the reviews online, buy a safety razor for God's sake and stop wasting your money on buying those absurdly priced replacement blades. Whatever, 5-6 blades with a cooling stripe, what a joke. Two penny's says you'll NEVER go back! Your welcome:)
