I researched quite a bit for a cover for our new Tempur-Pedic mattress. Decided on this one because it was totally encased and great protection against stains and critters. The price was also reasonable for the quality. I washed according to directions which made me nervous since it recommended hot wash and dry, but it went on the bed like a dream. The reviews were right that it helps to have two people, but the three sided zipper also made it easier. The zipper separated once or twice since this is a deep mattress, but by backing up a bit and gently working the zipper, all was well. So far, so good.

The actual side panel measurement is 13" tall. On the package it says it fits up to 18" mattresses, not 22" as it states in this description. It is very stretchy, but when you get it over a 22" mattress, the flimsy plastic zipper coils separate. We re-zipped and re-zipped trying to get it to stay closed over our 20" mattress. I got bed bugs a couple a months ago when family came to visit from Mexico and end up staying in one of our rooms and boy did I regret letting stay here. I never knew Ned bugs excitándose man we're they a little hard to get rid off. I caught one in a contagiando sure it was a bed bug said our exterminatorwho usually comes ones a month. He recommended me to Buy Protect a bed mattress covers to get rid of the infestation and thank God they didn't spread around the house and just by using these covers and I also recommend you buy Light out Bed bug detectors and just by spraying alcohol and also putting baking soda on mattress and carpet and letting it stand and vacuum every 3 days and repeating the process and washing everything in hot water and also on dryer and even ... This encasement is one of the best technologies ever. I have so many times in the past with older mattresses spilled stuff. I was not able to remove the stains out the mattress so I would flip the mattress. After flipping the mattress so may times I couldn't flip it anymore. Lol... Do I would have to purchase a new mattress. Anyway now with the encasement I don't have to worry about that. I can just take it off and wash it. No more mattress flipping for me. It is so easy to wash. If you get a system down it's easy to put back on as well. There is no cushion so if you would like to place a cushion underneath there is enough room. Overall it's a great product for your mattress or box spring.
Allergies Zip Smooth Mattress Protector or Box Spring Encasement for my Queen size bed. This protector has a nice smooth feeling to touch. Surprisingly not plastic feeling. I felt that there was no smell to this product either like some protectors have. I like how it's printed on this what is the bottom of the bed so there is no guessing. To put on this protector you are most definitely going to need another set of hands or two. I was not aware of this product before I received it in the mail to test it. I received this product complimentary but this review is all of my own perspective of this product.

I would give this zero stars if I could. It leaked through to my mattress and voided my warranty. I had NEVER laundered the encasement, ever. Part of their warranty process is that you must launder the product before sending in for testing or you void the warranty. So I washed it in cold water with no detergent, and dried it per instructions (with some towels) on delicate. They voided the warranty claiming that there were blisters on the laminate, likely from laundering. It's a catch 22. I have videos of the whole process, and all of the correspondence, including paperwork, recorded phone calls, emails. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! You will lose more than your purchase price. Check the BBB complaints on them.
Protector is waterproof and thin enough that I hardly noticed it, except for the mattress sleeping slightly hotter than before. Took it off to wash a stain, but when I put it back on, zipper got stuck and then came halfway off. Tried to reattach it, was not possible. Bought 6 months ago, so I can’t return/exchange it, and now my size isn’t even in stock anyway. Guess I’ll buy a different protector somewhere else.
