However, under the hood are a few changes that makes this a completely different tone machine. It's made of an all-mahogany body, delivering on warm characteristics with loads of midrange. This works alongside the bolt on construction, which adds brightness to the tone. Part of what made the original PRS CE 24 guitars so popular was how easy they were to play. The highly adjustable PRS tremolo also lets you set up the guitars exactly how you want. 85/15 humbuckers are incredible pickups found all the way through the PRS range, right to the upper echelons of the Custom 24 series. Highly versatile and powerful, the CE24 pair gains an extra top-end bite from the bolt-on neck - ideal for hard rock and metal.
