I am (was) a loyal Aveda product user. The men's aftershave balm in the old formula was the best aftershave product on the market. Read these comments Aveda. Bring it back on the market. The new aftershave is more expensive, doesn't have the quality texture and moisture of the old formula, and is a very inferior product. I can't understand why you took one of your best products out of production and replaced it with a worse quality product. Men are very loyal to a great product when we find one. The Aveda Men's aftershave balm in the original formulation was excellent. Please bring it back!!

I didn't think so and neither do I. It's pure-formance shave cream followed by aveda men pure-formance dual action aftershave for me. It makes my skin feel moist and helps me look my best. Dry air, sun, wind, they are all conspiring to make you look older than you have to. Fight back with aveda shave products and don't quit at half-time. Remember your aftershave. You'll be glad you did.
I suffer from ingrown hairs occasionally after close shaves. The aftershave effectively keeps those ingrown hairs from occurring as frequently as I have experienced with our products. It smells great as well. Not overly oily and application of small amounts are sufficient.
I have single-handedly been responsible for bringing scores of new customers to Aveda, which is absolutely not an exaggeration. I discovered Average in ~2000 through my girlfriend at the time when she bought me a birthday present consisting of a box loaded with the Men's Shave Balm, Hand Relief, Foot Relief, And Control Paste. ALL of those products were the best I had and STILL HAVE EVER USED. I am devastated that you discontinued the balm for THIS.... I am begging you to bring it back. Keep the new price! I don't care! I just want the original product!
This is a great moisturizer which does a great job of calming freshly shaved skin & moisturising all areas of the face. It's very lightweight, which is good, particularly in summer months, as it lessens oiliness, keeping face fresh. Tha aroma is in line with the rest of the Aveda Men Pureformance range, which is rich & calming. I alternate between this lotion & the Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion, both of which offer excellent skin benefits.
I bought this for my husband over 3 years ago now and he still swears by it. He used it after each shave and it has stopped his skin from getting rashes and breakouts. We had tried multiple other products before this but this has been the only thing that's worked. Highly recommend!
I have very sensitive skin and have tried numerous products and I always find myself going back to the triple action aftershave. Plus the smell is amazing!! It's a win win. Thanks Aveda!!
this is the only aftershave I use now . the fragrance is good and it calms a sensitive face after a shaveFor years I used the original Aveda after shave balm that was the best ever. after applying to your face you could dry your hands and use the excess on your hair or arms. I really miss that and still keep an eye out for old stock.This current aftershave is good but too greasy to use other than in tiny amounts on your chin. I tried using kiels version but that is much harder to work in and much greasier.When is Aveda going to produce a deodorant stick for men again?Forget the 90's hair sculpting gels and make more useful stuff with the fantastic Aveda ingredients
