Love this! Been using it for years. It is expensive! But I bleach my hair mostly so I can't really gripe about having to spend extra on good hair products. Scent is super nice. You can smell it for days! I would recommend making sure you really really wash out all of the conditioner before you finish because it will give you a greasy head. And also blow dry most of your hair after. If not it gets waxy feeling and oily looking. But I guarantee you if you use it they way I do it will blow your mind. OPI’s Big Apple Red is hands down one of the best red nail polishes I’ve ever used. The color is vibrant and bold, perfect for any occasion. The application is smooth, and the brush makes it easy to get an even coat without streaks. I’m impressed by how quickly it dries, which is great for someone always on the go. The polish also lasts long without chipping, even after several days of wear. The packaging is sleek and the bottle contains just the right amount of product. This shade has definitely become a staple in my nail polish collection!

Whether she’s wearing it with a casual outfit or something more dressed up, "Green-Wich Village" adds a fun, unexpected twist to her look. I’ve noticed that this polish has a nice finish—it’s glossy without being over-the-top shiny, and it dries to a smooth, even coat. My wife mentioned that it’s pretty easy to apply, too, with no streaks or bubbles. It’s also surprisingly versatile for such a bold color. She’s worn it to everything from weekend outings to evening events, and it always seems to fit the occasion. **Pros:** - **Unique and Bold Color**: The vibrant green is eye-catching and adds a playful, modern touch to any outfit. - **High-Quality Finish**: It dries to a smooth, glossy finish that looks professionally done. - **Long-Lasting**: The polish stays vibrant and chip-free for days, even through busy activities. - **Easy Application**: The formula is easy to work with, offering an even application without streaks or bubbles. **Cons:** - **Not for Everyone**: The bold green color might not be to everyone’s taste, and it may not suit every occasion. - **Multiple Coats Required**: My wife needed a couple of coats to get the color just right, which adds a bit of extra time to the process. **How It Fits Into Our Daily Life:** "Green-Wich Village" has become a bit of a statement color in our lives. My wife doesn’t wear it every day, but when she does, it’s clear she’s in the mood for something fun and different. It’s perfect for weekends, vacations, or any time she wants to stand out a little. And while it’s definitely bold, it’s also surprisingly versatile—it works with more outfits than I would’ve expected. **Who Should Consider This Nail Polish?** If you’re someone who loves to make a statement with your nail color and aren’t afraid to try something bold, OPI’s "Green-Wich Village" could be a great addition to your collection. It’s perfect for anyone looking to add a pop of fun and color to their look, especially during the spring and summer months. Give it a go—you might be surprised at how much you love it!

A Purple Conditioner That Actually Works
2 July 2023

I used a friend's Pureology set and was shocked at how soft and smooth it made my hair even though that particular formula wasn't quite right for my hair type. I needed to restock my shampoo and conditioner and decided to try this brand.I selected the Strength Cure line because it has what I'm looking for: damage control, color protection, and hydration. I use the regular Strength Cure shampoo with the Strength Cure Blonde Purple conditioner.I was shocked at *how* purple this conditioner is. I was expecting one of those pastel purple conditioners that doesn't really do the same job a purple or blue shampoo does but is a nice placebo for brass control. I was expecting one of those pastel purple conditioners that doesn't really do the same job a purple or blue shampoo does but is a nice placebo for brass control. Pureology's purple conditioner is almost indigo, and it will definitely turn your hands and nails a bit blue for a few minutes. That being said, I notice a marked difference in how vibrant my blonde looks after using. My natural hair pulls red as it grows out, clashing with the ashy tone of the bleached strands. I know it's time to see my hair sorceress when I've got coppery roots. Using this conditioner has really improved the cool tone of my hair, so I guess I'll have to actually set reminders to get my color retouched...Beyond the color correction, this conditioner really leaves my hair soft and manageable. I have almost no tangles straight out of the shower. My natural waves are more defined and bouncy, and I can go outside in 90% humidity without turning into an immediate frizzball. My one complaint is the scent. It smells like Play-Doh, which as a kid was fun but as an adult is not a smell I want lingering on my mane. Considering you have to leave this in for a few minutes to get the best results, the fragrance is a small torture. Overall, though, the results are worth it. The scent doesn't linger too badly, and I've been able to mask it with a leave-in conditioner. For reference: I have longer dishwater blonde hair with a balayage. I was using Joico's Defy Damage line for shampoo and conditioner and the Blonde Life brightening mask, and while it did the job, I was still battling frizzy and coarse strands. The longer I used it, the less effective it seemed to be.

Best for dry, colored hair
11 November 2023

My salon sells a lot of popular brands of hair care. I tried almost all of it and it was all fine. I found the strength cure from a string of beauty product ratings - so I gave it a try as I just didn't love the other stuff. This product has made my 50-something year old long, colored hair healthier than it has been in a long time. I've been using for about a year or so exclusively. My daughter who has very, very long hair just noticed it really dry lately and so I bought her the giant bottle of this. The big size is a great value, especially when there is a sale. I also use strength cure shampoo and color fanatic spray - pretty easy yet effective routine.

Does the job, just not "wowed"
31 March 2024

I use this conditioner on my lengths and ends along with the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo. It has definitely provided color protection for my professionally colored hair. My shade is a deep "cherry cola," and I see very little fade after nearly 6 weeks. The fragrance is OK, not overwhelming. I don't seem to have quite as much breakage, hence less hair loss, after a few times using this product. I just am not bowled over. I wish I hadn't bought the enormous value size because I'd like to see if I'd like another high-quality brand better.

Luxurious conditioner - based on preference
6 April 2023

Decided to try this after seeing rave reviews. Coming from a silicone-free conditioner and wanted to test this out mostly for the strengthening claims/repairing dry ends/reducing breakage. Haven’t yet found a silicone-free conditioner that meets these hair needs. That said, this conditioner has a lot of slip, easy to detangle hair, and doesn't leave hair dry/tacky after washing. Soft/smooth hair. Doesn't weigh the hair down. This product does have fragrance that is perfume like and lasts after washing. This isn't specific to Pureology but in general with hair care that contain these ingredients. This conditioner has been good so far - but it really is a product that is dependent on your hair needs…and your budget. Compared to other conditioners, this stuff is luxurious and matches salon-like styling. But it is expensive. At the very least, this can be used as a weekly ā€œtreatment.ā€ Not sure I will repurchase unless this provides noticeable long-term benefits to the hair.

Not all that it was hyped up to be
17 October 2023

I was influenced to try this shampoo and conditioner line after seeing positive reviews on TikTok. When ulta marked these down to half off for the gorgeous hair event, I thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to try it out! I usually use tresemmé shampoo/conditioner since it's more cost-friendly and works for my hair, and I was hoping that Pureology would be the brand that would convert me from using drug store products on my hair, but that sadly wasn't the case. The shampoo weighed my hair down at the root when i'm used to it being nice and bouncy after a fresh wash. I also noticed it got a greasier look quicker throughout the day as well, not good! The product itself has a pink-ish color which was different. My hair felt more tangly and textured post-wash opposed to the soft, smooth and light-weightiness that I was used to. To summarize: this product simply will get the job done. ...but that's it. Nothing special. Even for the 50% off price point that I got these at, it still is not worth that price in my opinion. I'll be sticking to my drug store products for now! :)
