I have several 3-cup Pyrex (rectangular food storage container). Since I have them for so many years, what breaks in them is the lid. So I am glad to still find replacement lids. I have purchased them in the past. However, this last batch of replacement lids were different than the previous ones I have purchased. The new lids do fit, but DO NOT close tightly, so if I take the Pyrex to work, they open and leak. The previous replacement lids that I had ordered close tightly, which no leaking. By the photos I am attaching you can see that they changed them. Also, the new lids don’t stay as flat as the old lids, maybe this is what contributes to them not closing tightly.

The product was in new packaging and in new condition. Pyrex lid design is clean, but not accurate to the version represented in the picture. Please update picture to help customers avoid confusion in the future. One lid design includes measurement design in the picture. The lid you recieve doesn't include measurement (3 cup) specification.

These 3-Cup Rectangle Glass Food Storage Dishes with Light Green Lid Covers are just the right size I needed for storing sliced cheese, deli-sliced meat, and other foods (without liquids) for which I prefer shallow storage dishes. The tops are easy to put on and take off, which I needed, meaning it is not possible for them to be leak-proof in the ways achieved by other types of tops (that are also harder to put on and seal). The green tops are a welcome change from navy blue and red.

I’ve had these dishes for many years (they originally came with navy lids), but the original lids cracked in the corners and were just not usable any more. It was great to find replacements here that are original from the Pyrex brand, plus it was really nice to find them in a more modern color. These gave a new life to my dishes, they feel like brand new. Also great to know, that hopefully they can now last me for 8-9 more years.
Not good. Doesn't seal the container. I purposely bought from corelle and not from amazon. I was thinking I could avoid knockoffs. This lid is junk and doesn't seal tight, just light the much cheaper ones on Amazon.
Got spares cz my lids practically disintegrated after years of use in the freezer and sometimes dishwasher. The containers are holding up incredibly. They are totally unbreakable except when one fell outside on the road.That's why I got new lids to replace the old ones. I'm not letting go of my containers just yet (even after 5-6yrs haha)

Some of the glass containers weren’t even level and rock on the countertop. But the biggest issue was the lids. They no longer fit snugly like they used to and are far more flimsy. I though maybe the product I had was from a lesser manufacturer, so I figured I would buy replacement lids directly from Pyrex before returning the containers completely. They were advertised as the old style (with the cup number on the lid, largely displayed), so I had confidence that I was going to receive the previous superior product. I have already returned these replacement lids, and will be returning all 12 of the original purchased containers and lids to that supplier. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed in Pyrex quality and quality control. I used to be a firm believer in all Pyrex containers, but in the future, I will be purchasing all of my containers from a different manufacturer.
Lids received do not provide a snug fit. Too loose to use. Ordered Blue and received Dark Blue, Muddy Aqua, and Charcoal Gray. Contacted Walmart 3x (every 2 weeks) to have them exchanged or returned and twice they nicely responded that Helton Tool will get back to me. I have not heard back. Tried contacting Helton Tool customer service directly and after several days, still waiting to hear back. Not pleased with this order at all and doubt Helton stands behind their products by the lack of attention to a simple exchange or return. Other lids for different shape containers work well. These are not up to par.
I love Pyrex and possibly have a bit if an obsession. I bought these replacements because over the years the plastic tops have become worn while the glass bottoms have not.To be perfectly honest, the reason i needed these replacements is 1) my darling gusband out them in the dishwasher where they got a little hot over many washes and 2) my husband is also an amazon who doesn't know his own strength and will frequently yank the lids off, ripping them.So far, he has not been allowed to touch the replacements. I've had them for months with no problem. An additional bonus is they are reasonably priced!
I have had some of these for many years, and they are such a useful size that I finally had to buy more of them. They are the perfect size for storing some of the things l make (like cream of chicken soup in recipe-size portions) and also the perfect size to hold a meal-sized serving of one of the dinners I make. I love that they are oven safe, freezer safe, microwave safe. These might be the most useful containers I have.
