The steamer is perfect too, I use it with a vintage Corning vision saucepan, the lid fits the steamer perfectly. Much healthier than metal or bamboo steamers, IMO.

Excellent steamer
The glass steamer is good but wouldnt buy another. Somewhat big which means if you only have small amounts to cook its quicker to boil, which beats the objective. You need a big pot to put glass steamer in. Food takes ages to cook and probably costs more in terms of electricity/gas. Not sure if Ill be using it regularly.

Does what it is designed to do, steams veg.
I had one of these for several years and broke it the other day. My fault not the products. I use it almost every day. It is the only steamer I have found made with glass so you can see when your food is done.
