Q-Tips are a personal care product I always have on hand. I use them daily for makeup application like tidying up my eyeliner or smudging eyeshadow. I also use them to dip out emollients like face creams and Vaseline from jar containers so I am not contaminating them with my fingers prior to application. Q-Tip brand is the only cotton swab I have used that does not peel or pull of when used. It is also the only cotton swab I will purchase and can recommend purchasing. Generic substitutes simply will not do. As always, do not place these inside of ears as it can cause hearing damage. These are perfect for cleaning small spaces like around the screen protector on your phone, detailing your car, or daily makeup use.

Always preferred QTips over other brands. I give 4 out of 5 because even though these have more cotton, they don't Always have what they should. I reminisce about the old Q-tips quality

I am 45 and used these since I was a kid. For quite a few years now, I’ve noticed they were getting increasingly inferior to their prior self. It’s so sad all the companies that continue to charge us more and give us a lower end product in order to save their bottom line and keep their big bonuses. I remember using these for certain things throughout my life and I needed to actually pull some of the cotton off because it was too poofy. Now they barely even come with any cotton on them. You can’t possibly take away any more cotton now, so my only guess is the stick will slowly become shorter in the years to come and will bend easier, but what happens after that? Multiple uses!

I love these q tips for cleaning off mascara and eye liner mistakes. I pop these in my mouth and wipe off any issues. I have tried water and it wets the q tip too much and ends up making a mess. If you think this is gross, I recommend brushing your teeth before applying your makeup. My mouth is clean so this does not gross me out.I also use these to clean my dogs ears when she had an ear infection. I groom my dogs and do not recommend for anyone who has not been shown by a veterinary professional.These are also great to clean the crevices of your laptop. Getting nail polish off without needing to take off the entire finger. Applying eye shadow, eye brow makeup!

No longer a superior product.

I see by all the poor reviews that I'm not the only one who has noticed the lower quality of Q-Tips. (They don't even advertise the "quilted tip" anymore because it's not there anymore.) VERY BAD IDEA!In addition to the lack of cotton, the sticks are definitely shorter (they don't fit the same in my Q-Tips brand holder--yes, I noticed!), and the sticks are flimsier. These aren't deal-breakers for me, but not enough cotton on the tips is!This is one of the few brand-name items I USED TO regularly buy. Not anymore. Now I'm searching for something like Q-Tips used to be...Don't apologize, fix it!

Quality issues lately

I've been using Qtips for over 40 years daily to keep my ears free of wax build up. I've never had any issues until about a year ago. I used other brands in the past but Qtip was always the best. I went to clean my ears last year and almost pierced my eardrum as the swab was mostly missing on one end of the Qtip. Since then it has happened several times. Now that I'm paranoid I check them every morning before using them. I have to question what happened to their quality check. I understand mistakes happen but this is ridiculous. Over 40 years without any issues and now this. Please check your Qtips before using them.
