ÂŁ50 wasted, mates thought it was hilarious. Spare parts are extortionate! (should be a bag of 10 clips for ÂŁ8 not 1 - especially given their survival rate, even gold plated they wouldn't be worth that much) Phone now back in backpack so gained nothing from my purchase except a hole in my wallet and a lumpy case. Very disappointed - ignore the Facebook adverts. (and its not a fake clamp as I bought it from Quad Lock UK, not eBay - seen that excuse on forums already)

Feel like quad lock has been around long enough and had enough customer feedback that they could have more color selections on their cases than just black. My biggest gripe is that the cases have remotely no texture for gripping the phone. The case is slick as georgia clay. Some slight texture to the case would make the grip so much better. I have thought about using a drimmle to stipple the case to gain grip. Had the mag case for s22 for 2 years and now the s24 case. Great locking system and phone protection but new colors and some texture is really needed. Other companies like mous, rokform, and peak have texture and more grip.

Honestly the case is mediocre. The sides are not high enough to fully protect the screen. If they were as tall as the top and bottom things might be different. It's easy to damage your screen protector with even a minor drop or if anything even just Falls on the edge of the glass. The "lock" design of the case is very clever and securely mounts my phone to my motorcyle. I also purchased the anti-vibration mount, which is equally innovative. The case and components seem to be high quality, however, the case is very slick and could easily be dropped from the hand or another surface. I would recommend placing some type of grip tape on the back and sides. I do question the protection the case provides compared to my previous case, an Otterbox Defender. For mounting to a motorcycle or another vehicle, I would highly recommend this case. For regular carry, not so much.

I previously owned a Rokform case for my Galaxy S22, but the price on the Quad Lock was much more reasonable. The edges are more flush level with the screen face rather than stand proud, so if dropped on the face theres very little in the way to stop the screen taking the impact.
