I was so excited to try these bars because I’ve heard good things but unfortunately I was not a fan. You could definitely taste the protein and I didn’t get any cookie dough flavoring. Since it’s a good way to get protein quick I decided to try out another flavor and came up with the same result. I couldn’t get past the taste longer than about two bites. And I’ve had other protein bars so I’m used to the protein taste. However, I know some friends who really like this brand so it’s all in personal taste! I’d say still try a flavor out and see how it goes.

GNC keeps asking for a review, but I can't even find the actual product to review that I've been using auto-deliver on for over a year.I have an auto subscription for the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough without the chocolate covering. They taste like they have Hershey's chocolate in them and the texture is perfect. Sometimes they have a very slight coconut flavor, but it isn't common thankfully.It doesn't matter if you get them on Amazon or GNC, the odds of a bad box are the same. The only thing that is different is that I can be guaranteed to get them in one day on Amazon. I'm not sure why I still use Subscribe and Save actually.I wish they'd let me use my points on my subscribe and save, but you have to go to a brick and mortar for that which is annoying.

Like a big, bland Tootsie Roll

These are chewy. Incredibly chewy. Like e.g. taffy, Starburst, Tootsie Roll kind of chewy. I was not expecting this level of stick-in-your-molars chewiness. I might get past the consistency if not for the bland flavor. Heating them improves the taste somewhat, but not enough. The chocolate tastes fine, and is probably the one thing that makes these at least edible. Also the amount of protein is impressive. Unfortunately I won’t be buying more.

Not impossible to stomach

Soooo I read quite a lot of reviews on this and was hesitant about getting it but took the plunge anyway — this is not as awful as some people say. Does it taste amazing? No. Is it bottom-of-the-sewer awful? Also no. It taste just as you’d expect of a protein bar. Weird texture. Slightly sickly sweet. But at least this holds together (read: chewy) and isn’t chalky like other brands. I like the chocolate chunks in there. Good for getting a good amount of protein in. Would recommend if you’re not overly picky.

Too many calories.I've been using this product for a little while now, and I'm still determining whether it's the right fit for me. I haven't experienced any significant changes, either positive or negative, and I think more time is needed to really evaluate its effectiveness. The product's quality seems reasonable, and it's easy to use, but I'll need to continue using it to form a more concrete opinion. I'll update my review in the future once I have more experience with the product. If you're considering giving it a try, it might be worth experimenting to see if it suits your needs.

awesome protein bar

I'm a big fan of protein bars. This isy first time trying a quest bars. They are absolutely awesome. Also, Avery big plus is a high fiber content. Most people have a hard time getting to their daily fiber content including myself, this bar helps me out tremendously. I highly recommend theses bars to anyone who wants increase their daily protein and fiber content. This particular flavor tastes like I'm eating a genuine cookie. Place it in a microwave for a few seconds and you have a ready yummy dessert. This is my new favorite protein ber. I'll be buying it for many years to come.

I’m rating these Quest protein bars “5 stars” considering they are PROTEIN BARS. They are not actually made out of cookie dough. I’m clarifying this point because, based on some of the negative reviews, it seems like people expect they’re going to enjoy them as much as they enjoy eating cookie dough. ??? Cmon people. No, these are NOT made of “5 star” cookie dough. but they truly taste as close to cookie dough as I’ve ever had a protein bar taste. The texture is fine IMO - it’s similar to a clif bar. it isn’t chalky like some reviews claim. Are these bars the best thing Ive ever eaten? No. But they are a decent tasting/textured protein bar that fits my dietary requirements.
