I don't like many bars of this nature because I think they taste too dry and lacking flavor. This Quest Hero Protein bar Crispy Cookies & Cream bar is really good! It is chocolatety goodness with a couple of different chocolates. I do find it a bit too sweet but still good. The bar is larger than I thought it would be. It has 18 g ( 36%) protein, 1 g sugar and 3 g net carbs. I might just watch the Sat. Fat at 25% if you are watching your intake. It is a great tasting protein bar.

Very satisfying for curbing hunger - stays with you, and gives that indulging feeling of a dessert without the sugar crash - sustaining and delicious. Didn't realize most of Quest bars have either palm kernel oil or palm oil - neither are good for health - used to stabilize product shelf life - palm oil is better healthwise than palm kernel oil. Watching other saturated fat intake while using these ... as their satisfying nature and taste are beneficial for me.

loved taste and high protein low net carbs. a great now and then snack as a diabetic that i don't have to be guilty for eating. 10 days ago i ordered the EXACT same thing for $12 less. i KNOW things are costing more but seriously, i think it got jacked up because of all the positive reviews. i agree with most of them but $12 in less than 10 days. THAT COMPLETELY STINKS and says a LOT about the greed of the company. give people a break now and then and keep something so good for me affordable for me to buy. really REALLY sad. SERIOUSLY. I have another review with 5 stars. can't change the way i feel about the product but highly disappointed about the immediate price change. SHAME ON YOU! GREED WILL BREAK YOU. Believe that.

These taste fantastic! But…. At a glance, the bars good really healthy with 17 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar which is showcased on the wrapper. However, on the nutritional facts chart, there are 5 additional grams of “Sugar Alcohols” or “erythritol” as a substitute. So I hit the Goog and searched “is erythritol bad for you?” YIKES!!!!It would be nice to have food producers stop using chemicals when something like stevia is sweet and natural without the side effects.
My husband is a big fan of these bars. He has never tried this flavor before, so he was excited we received one to test. He is an electrician and works on the road. Healthy snacks with protein are his preference. So, in other words, he took it, lol. He said these are crunchy, but not hard on the teeth. The really liked this flavor. He stated there was no weird aftertaste afterwards. No residue left in the mouth. Just a great tasting snack that he didn't feel guilty eating.
I was sent a Quest Nutrition - Cookies & Cream Hero Protein Bar by the TryIt Sampling Community to eat and review. As an outdoor hiker, biker and walker I look for products that will help me through my quests and provide my body with what it needs. This bar hits the bill with 21 gms of protein, 13 gms of fiber, and 9 essential amino acids. I was skeptical when I saw the bar as it looked more of a sweet snack than a health bar, but I was wrong. It has no added sugars but really satisfies my sweet tooth. I recommend this product to everyone, especially exercisers, outdoors people, and those looking for a "sweet" treat to get you through.
I will always recommend a Quest product because I find them to always be the yummy options for me in my journey. I’ve been on a keto weight loss for almost 2 years now and my go to when I miss the crunch, the sweet, the deliciousness I grab a Quest protein bar. Down 100lbs and never feel like I’m missing anything. I was extra excited for a cookies and cream flavor. It gives you all the goodness and crisp with each bite. With 3 net carbs it’s a perfect option and a healthier option but most of all a Delicious option!!! Let Quest help you in whatever health quest you’re on.
I'm a fan of all the hero bars. In general, I am very picky with protein bars, meal bars, etc. Normally I don't like the aftertaste or texture or size or carbs or price. However, the hero bars are thick and not too dense, just the right amount of carbs. They are crunchy and chewy at the same time. I don't have a favorite flavor. The Blueberry bars are more sweet than the others. I like it for breakfast. It's chewy and has a nice blueberry flavor. In the picture, a thick strip of blueberry jam/jelly is shown - the picture is exaggerated for detail I guess. There is not a dripping, thick blueberry strip, but instead just a nice little splash of blueberry flavor. I don’t usually eat protein bars but I have sampled a few over the years. I was so surprised when I tasted this Cookies and Cream Hero Protein Bar. It is delicious. It tasted like a mixture of an Oreo cookie and a frosted crunchy cookie treat. Very crunchy and chewy. The frosted part is sweet but not overly so. Each bar contains 6 grams of fat, 1g sugar, 18 grams of protein and only 150 calories. The bars are more expensive than regular snack bars but are worth it.
These are great! I ONLY recommend the hero protein bars when it comes to the Quest bars. Their other line of protein bars is chalky and gross (in my opinion). The hero line is less so. Still not the best bars out there but protein based foods usually aren’t so just keep that in mind. Anyways, out of all the hero bars I’ve tried (chocolate caramel pecan, oreo, and peanut butter) the chocolate caramel pecan flavor is the best one (and this is coming from someone who isn’t a big fan of caramel). I genuinely like it. But I recommend any of the flavors I’ve tried!
