I was trying out a strict diet, and this was the only cookie I let myself have. I wanted it to taste good, but it wasn’t the best. It is however, packed with protein. If you can get it to satisfy your cravings, then it will hold you over til your next meal very easily. I promise, it’s not bad. But it’s an acquired taste. If you don’t have a huge and dramatic sweet tooth like I do, it should work really well for you.

Quest oatmeal chocolate chip protein bar has great texture and flavor. I like the texture of the oatmeal in it as well as the crunch from the chocochips. I think it tastes like you're eating a healthy oatmeal cookie. I love how this bar is high in protein but low in carbs and sugar. They are more pricey than some other brands out there, but if you're trying to eat less carbs and sugar than this is perfect for you.

Some of these reviews are so funny. This is a protein bar NOT an actual oatmeal cookie lol. Take a bar, put it on a plate, cut it in four pieces and microwave for about 20-25 seconds. Tastes like a warm cookie from the oven. Almost. Because it is still, ya know, a protein bar ;) 3 WW points. Worth it!

Best flavor of quest

The taste and texture of these are perfect. these are soooo much better than the old quest recipe, these bars are actually edible and they truly taste like an oatmeal cookie, not a protein bar!!! I hope one day you will make a plain version without the chocolate or consider oatmeal raisin instead. Anyways though, plz don’t change the recipe ever again, these are great.

Bland and Dry

Quest is my favorite protein brand for bars and shakes. However this Oatmeal Chocolate is not that great. It is gritty and has a terrible aftertaste. I think they are very bland and dry. I will stick with purchasing the Chocoalte Chip Cookie Dough flavor.

Excellent!

Great taste, good size, protein per serving is really good, though leaves a bad breath and weirdly „tasting“ burps. The aroma is raisiny and the texture is like hard butter, so it kind of feels like you’re eating a cheat snack, which is cool.Overall recommended, just have a mint in reach :)

Good flavor

After being disappointed with the raspberry white chocolate and lemon cake flavors I wasn’t sure any of the quest bars were going to be worth it. In general they are way to sweet but I was told to try any of the cookie flavor ones. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. As is the case with all of quest’s regular protein bars the texture is hard and chewy so not the best but the flavor of this one is very good. Over all the quest hero bars are way better but this one is pretty good.

Not What I Was Expecting

Based on the picture and shape of the box, I was expecting (and hopeful for) a cookie shaped protein product. After opening the packaging, I found it was your typical protein bar shaped product with the consistency of dehydrated, pureed oatmeal and very little flavor. I am used to purchasing protein bars made by Pure Protein and the price point was very similar except that Quest gives you two less bars for the same price as Pure Protein. Pure Protein bars are actually good and have a nice candy bar like flavor. The protein and carbs in both products are similar, but the flavor, texture and value are much better with Pure Protein.

Not bad

These protein bars are some of the better ones out there. The flavor is not too bad, but you still have to know a little about what a protein bar tastes like and what to expect. They're definitely not delicious, and it does not taste like your eating an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. However, they are pretty good for a protein bar, with minimal ingredients, which is a plus in my opinion.
