I did not enjoy this product. A consultant told me I could use this as both a body cover-up AND a full coverage foundation. I did NOT like this on my face at all! I don't think this is the fault of the product, but rather some very uninformed beauty advice. It sat on my skin but covered nothing. It DID however sink into my pores and any available crease I wasn't even aware of. I've seen photos of remedied scars and covered tattoos, veins and blemishes. So...take my advice an try it out if you're planning on using it on your face. Absolutely Amazing

Ok I don't frequently write reviews, but for this I had to. First of all, I realize this is a body product but I used it on my face. Ok I broke my nose and because of it one of my eyes went black. Like imagine a boxer with a horrific black eye. I clearly do not want to walk around like that, and while I've never used dermablend before, I knew it was absolutely the fullest coverage I could buy, so I got it. I picked this particular product, again, because it was the fullest coverage in their line. I'm not gonna lie I'm pretty familiar with how to use different products bc makeup is one of my hobbies, and I'm very patient.... to do this probably took 45 minutes.... but y'all this COMPLETELY COVERED my eye!!!! I looked totally normal like nobody even knew.... in fact when I took this off (you definitely need an oil based makeup remover, I don't see Clinique take the day away) I was horrified to see my eye, I totally forgot how bad it looked!!! My tip would be to use a primer, and then stroke on the product, let it sit (your skin warms it up) and then tap it in with your fingers.... and then repeat again and again til whatever is covered. If your issue is not as severe as mine I'm sure it wouldn't take as long as mine did. Then set it by tapping setting powder on it using a beauty blender. I own like so many beauty products, and this is the most impressive one I've ever seen. Seriously.

Does not work how it is marketed

The product does not cover tattoos well at all. I tried three layers, letting it dry in between each application, and my tattoo at most looked faded. It's a small black outline tattoo, no color, should have covered easily. It also never fully dried and rubbed off on clothing. Though it was fairly resistant to soap and water, difficult to wash off. The colors are terrible. I tried the lightest shade first, it looked pink on my skin, and I'm generally an ivory/fair complexion. The next color up looked very beige, which drastically stood out on my skin. Other than that, it feels silky, applied and spreads well, and would be great as a normal face product, just not for body.

Great as my on the go foundation touchup!

I have Melasma. I use the Quick Fix Body and swipe it over my Melasma on my cheeks and my forehead. It's opaque and covers it completely. I use a dry beauty sponge to pat it and blur out the edges. For all over face application I feel it is a bit too heavy looking. However if you don't need much coverage I can see how 1 swipe on forehead and on both cheeks will give someone high medium coverage with it looking light weight. But to use this as a full coverage foundation layered on will be heavy. So I use it basically as my concealer and then I use the Dermablend Flawless Creator Drops all over my face, (just a few drops on top of my primed face, Smashbox Primer Oil) and on the Quick Fix Body areas and it gives me a nice satin, almost skin like and complete full ... MoreI have Melasma. I don't like using too much setting powder, since in my case, LESS IS MORE with all my make layers, hahaha, so I do get some transfer, but that's because I don't set it properly. I use powder blush and basically that is how I set my cheeks. I use setting powder very faintly everywhere else so I don't dull the finish. Sometimes I need to touch up during the day and if I do, I just swipe the Quick Fix where I need it and pat and blend it with a beauty sponge. Takes 12 seconds as a touch up! Try it! it is very long lasting and heavy duty even without setting it properly. If you want it BULLET PROOF, set it (or bake it) with the suggested loose powder, or any loose quality powder and it will last for MANY MANY MANY HOURS!

Great coverage once you work it out!

I have some scars on my arm from a recent accident that I wanted to cover up for summer tank top season. As someone else noted, this obviously is not magic and you will still see the texture of a scar if it is raised, but if you put it on thick enough and blend, it can smooth out some of the rough edges of a scar. I first used this product just by itself, and it definitely covered, but didn't seem to last well. I played around and found what works for me: makeup primer first (I'm using a sample of Urban Decay), then Dermablend, let it set and dry for a minute, then sponge on loose powder, lastly use a makeup brush or blender to dust off excess powder and blot the edges. It's a BIG no for me

This foundation has had to been the worst foundation I ever tried. I definitely tried to use it multiple ways and techniques, because I love a good cream stick foundation but it just kept leaving me with the same results.The coverage is certainly not full coverage and literally glides off from the face in a very patchy way , also when you apply it , it shows/creates texture on the face that I normally don't have problems with in general (early 20's) so with that being said if you are someone with a lot of texture skin or have mature skin stay away from this one . Way better ones out there!

I was not impressed by how hard it was to blend this product on the skin. It was not very blendable and took over 4 coats to cover my tattoo which was a small tattoo. I also did not like how hard it was to find a match for my skin tone. The variation of colors offered did not match causing me to have to add other colors of more products just to find a match. I also had to use tons of moisturizer just to get it to move around my skin. The product dries way to fast causing dry hard to blend patches on the skin if you do not quickly spread the product immediately it will dry in a few seconds. Not user friendly. It does not offer full coverage over tattoos. Sadly did not work for me

I had good luck with Dermablend over a decade ago when I needed to cover a surgical scar on my neck. But that’s with the cosmetic coverup which has a lot of different tones. Unfortunately I just couldn’t get a match for my very fair skin. I am trying to cover a few spider veins. I did better with yellow color corrector coverup and very pale flesh-toned rice powder.

I researched the best makeup for tattoo cover. I purchased Dermablend because it was rated the best for tattoo coverage but his wasn't the case for me. I have two very faded hand tattoos that I wanted covered for a job interview. I have had two sets of laser treatment to remove them but they still exist. This Dermablend foundation stick did not cover my tattoo, which had me incredibly disappointed. Another disappointment was that I paid extra to ship by a specific date in time for a job interview and it arrived one day later than the tracking indicated I would receive he product.
