Beautiful boots, RM has been around since 1932. Construction and quality appear outstanding. The yearling leather used is super soft and molds around your foot. The oil resistant sole offers more traction and longevity vs traditional leather soles, looks sharp. The toe of this boot (comfort turnout) narrows considerably so going slightly loose versus a bit tight was recommended if you are in between sizes. Slight heel lift already going away after 1st day of wearing. "G" width on RM's is the equivalent of "D" in the USA. One full size down from Adidas runners seems about right. The chestnut has slight bit of burgundy tint but looks great. Very fair price from Bloomingdales. Go for it !

Bought this for my husband who loves R.M. Williams shoes. He has wide feet and the H fit is perfect for him. Can always rely on R.M. Williams for excellent quality leather shoes which will last a lifetime. Nice colour too! Glad I managed to get them on sale.

I saw these boots in Bribane. My mates all had them. Awesome look with the slightly square toes. I usually wear a 12 med US. Ordered12.5. Perfect fit. The boots retail for 599 in Australia. With my discount and free shipping 438 at my door.Never spent do much on footware.But perfect fit, soft leather and so crazy sexy.Like slipping into an old friend.Cheers!

I discovered RM Williams almost 20 years while traveling through Australia. With limited US venders, I’m glad a few US companies have discovered the boots. The fit, quality and longevity of this boot brand is incredible. From Fall through Spring, these are literally worn daily. I rotate two pairs, but until a week ago, my newest pair is 15 years old. Indestructible with a little care. Easy RM approved resole in US with Jim’s Shoe repair at CobblerConcierge. Have sold many colleagues and friends on the style, and versatility of the boot. Great shoe! Usually you’d expect to get two in a box, instead I got a cosmetically flawed left boot and a note informing me that the right boot was on a VM display.Fabulous way for your father’s Christmas present to arrive. Replacement pair was delivered on January 4.Mistakes happen, but so does basic checking of boxes, expensive shoes do not usually rattle about in their boxes if both are present. Quality leather boots actually weigh something, and merely handling the carton when it was delivered caused time to think that the package wasn’t my boots. When I saw the RM box I knew there was a problem.
I was a little sceptical as to how comfy these boots would be as my feet have softened since the pandemic due to me living in my slippers! I needn't have worried! Wore the boots all day at a wedding and had no discomfort whatsoever! If you're contemplating buying a pair, just go for it, they're fantastic!
I had been pondering over a pair of RM Williams Comfort Craftsman boots for a while as I am a big fan of Goodyear welted footwear but I was a bit indecisive as to go for these boots or stick with my Northampton made shoes but I'm pleased with them...they are cracking!These boots are so comfy straight out of the box, they really are like slippers and they fit true to size too, just whish I had chosen the Rum colour now as it's a gorgeous colour, but maybe next time.Only one thing that I would change on these RMs and that's the sole...British made Dainite soles would make these boots really stand out!Mark.
I have been thinking about buying some RM Williams boots for a number of years and finally made up my mind. These boots are superb quality and a perfect fit. They are extremely comfortable straight out of the box and need no breaking in at all. My only regret is waiting so long before buying them.
Very disappointed. Having spent £375 on some new RM Williams Boots for Christmas, I had to pay additional postage (£4.95), other comparative retail stores were free but I wanted to support a local Banbury firm.Once received I realised they were slightly too big. To make matters worse I have now had to pay £10+ to return them. This is not acceptable and completely unfair (£15+ in postage costs)I will never shop with William Powell again and shall buy all future boots & clothing elsewhere.

The leather sole is flexible and only time will tell if it is of high quality. One of the big differences between the comfort and classic versions is the insole. The comfort has that fixed cushioned insole and the classic has the traditional leather insole. I prefer the leather insole as I do worry about the longevity of the cushioned insole. For first timers I would recommend the comfort over the classic as it can be worn all year round. One negative point is the heel.
