I really went back and forth on whether to buy these boots. The hesitation was the price of the boot. But after finally reading all the reviews and the YouTube videos I bought a pair. After owning these boots for sometime now I can say they are worth the price. By far the most comfortable, stylish, and durable footwear I own. Not only that they look better with time. Lastly, the customer service at the Gastown location in Vancouver was great! They answered all of my questions, and gave great advice on how to take care of the boots.

I wanted some Comfort Craftsman boots, but no store in my area carries them. Using the info provided by Australian Boot Co and the size equivalents during the order entry page, I was able to select the perfect size. The shipping option I had chosen at checkout was unavailable in practice at shipping time, the store called me to make alternate arrangements and the boots arrived the day after they shipped, well packaged. The chestnut colour on the site is almost exactly like the real thing; no colour gimmickry to make the boots looks more attractive online. You get exactly what you ordered. The boots themselves are everything I read about them: beyond comfortable. I discounted most opinions saying these are the most comfy boots ever, but to me they truly lived up to ... MoreI wanted some Comfort Craftsman boots, but no store in my area carries them. I am working on my second pair of the Gardener for everyday out and about and was tired of wearing uncomfy shoes to work- I’m on my feet all day in a healthcare clinic. But I wanted a dressier looking boot in a finer leather for work, so I invested in the Comfort Craftsman. I don’t know how many women typically buy these boots for office attire, but I can wholeheartedly recommend these as a chic Chelsea with crop pants. And they are very, very comfortable. I was literally thinking today that my feet were very happy! I wear the same size in the comfort craftsman as I did in the Gardener. The Gardener is a bit more roomy in the toe box but since I normally wear merino socks in the Gardener and trouser socks or knee-highs for work, the same size worked for both ... MoreI am working on my second pair of the Gardener for everyday out and about and was tired of wearing uncomfy shoes to work- I’m on my feet all day in a healthcare clinic. High quality boots at competitive price. I purchased these boots for my sons 21st. They arrived really quickly and were well packaged. The price was similar to other stockists but past experiences led me here again.
They are superb. The sizing is perfect to an inch. Comfy and sturdy. The only caveat is the colour, on the website the model I bought, the chestnut colour looks slightly darker than the physical model itself.
I had been pondering over a pair of RM Williams Comfort Craftsman boots for a while as I am a big fan of Goodyear welted footwear but I was a bit indecisive as to go for these boots or stick with my Northampton made shoes but I'm pleased with them...they are cracking! These boots are so comfy straight out of the box, they really are like slippers and they fit true to size too, just whish I had chosen the Rum colour now as it's a gorgeous colour, but maybe next time.Only one thing that I would change on these RMs and that's the sole...British made Dainite soles would make these boots really stand out!Mark.
I have been thinking about buying some RM Williams boots for a number of years and finally made up my mind. These boots are superb quality and a perfect fit. They are extremely comfortable straight out of the box and need no breaking in at all. My only regret is waiting so long before buying them.
Very disappointed. Having spent £375 on some new RM Williams Boots for Christmas, I had to pay additional postage (£4.95), other comparative retail stores were free but I wanted to support a local Banbury firm.Once received I realised they were slightly too big. To make matters worse I have now had to pay £10+ to return them. This is not acceptable and completely unfair (£15+ in postage costs)I will never shop with William Powell again and shall buy all future boots & clothing elsewhere.
I have two pairs of rm Williams both with the comfort rubber sole. I decided on the leather sole option in suede. The suede was of a good not great quality as the nap was longer in places. The leather sole is flexible and only time will tell if it is of high quality. One of the big differences between the comfort and classic versions is the insole. The comfort has that fixed cushioned insole and the classic has the traditional leather insole. I prefer the leather insole as I do worry about the longevity of the cushioned insole. For first timers I would recommend the comfort over the classic as it can be worn all year round. One negative point is the heel. For a boot with a 270 degree welt they could have made the width of the heel more narrow as it extends past the ... MoreI have two pairs of rm Williams both with the comfort rubber sole. Purchased RM Williams, new mid brown. Like my previous purchases, they never disappoint. Hanna's were fantastic, professional and better than RM store that I previously visited. I will be back!
