I like this layer but the sleeves are a bit too short. I bought a second one in a larger size and whilst the sleeves are better I have now lost the close body fit. At 6ft, I originally bought the size large because I have the Kinetic Alpine Jacket in large which fits like a glove. It is always disappointing when brands can not maintain consistency with sizing.
It's very warm in the UK at the moment, so there hasn't been much of an opportunity to wear the item since purchase.However, I can say that it is very well made with a good cut. My first impressions are that it would be ideal to wear as a light, close fitting but easy to move around in, mid-layer.
Like the most technical cardigan I’ll ever own! Thick enoughbto insulate but light and stretchy too. Love the zip pockets and beanie/helmet friendly hood. Packs well and dries quickly. Bright colour makes me feel like a Chamonix local whenever I wear it!
I've been wearing my Rab Nexus hoodie for a few months. Fit and finish is top notch. Material feels extremely soft on the skin. I especially like the double-length cuffs and flat seams, which makes layering very easy and low bulk. It's surprisingly warm for its weight. In the winter I layer it over a midweight baselayer and that keeps me warm enough while actively hiking in the 20's or even teens without wind. When it gets very cold or there's a little wind I'll throw on an active insulation layer over it (like my Nano-Air hoodie, which I also love). I hike warm, so I try to utilize fleece and breathable layers whenever I can.Fit is definitely "fitted," which is good for layering. Very good for midlayer
This is now the third nexus hoodie an my sixth nexus top, i love them, so light yet so warm, they fit well, the colours are good, the feel is good, theres nothing bad to say about the nexus range at all.Having to order on line was so so eady and my parcel arrived quickly and without any issues.A great experiance from start to finish
