Like the entire Nexus line, it fits very small. I think it is meant to be tight fitting for whatever reason. I usually wear a M with Rab clothing but I got a L and it fit fine. Material seems good so far. The fabric is slightly scratchy though - hopefully this gets better over time. At the sale price I think the item is great. Not sure if I would pick it at full price over the other brands.

I've always loved rab fleece. They are both functional and stylish. Very well made and fits true to size. I'm mostly a merino person, but this is the next best thing.

Incredibly lightweight. Works perfectly with a gilet on those in-between days or as a lightweight mid-layer piece.
Very comfortable fleece. I had a hood and I got this one at a very good deal.It is smaller than most other brand but it is perfect for me as a size S of other brands are usually too big for me. I am 5'5".
Having a few Rab garments that fit well I ordered a Nexus jacket in XL, the same size as my other tops. Where the others fit very well this fleece does not feel quite right. A similar Rab hoody fits very well but the sleeves are shorter and the cuffs are baggier on the Nexus fleece. I like these lightweight fleeces and the hoody is great, but this fleece is a bit disappointing.
The Nexus fleeces are incredibly warm for their weight, thickness and bulk. A superb mid layer. One of my favourite and most used cold season garments.A definite recommendation.
The nexus quality is not as good as it was previously. Man has 2 others and loved so much, hence new colour for prez but the depth and loft of the innner 2ply circular knit is definitely less robust. So the appearance from the front is a little “floppy” because when quilted technique on this thinner backing fabric it just doesn’t feel or look substantial. Would like to discuss further if given the opportunity. Has the weight of this lining been reduced? I would be upset to hear this if making to a lower spec.
This is the second Nexus jacket I have bought. The jacket offers warmth on cool summer mornings & contributes well to a layering system for Autumn & Winter months. Useful sized pockets for keeping small items of equipment close at hand i.e. compass, torch etc.
I wanted a mid layer to pair with the Rab Downpour Eco Waterproof Jacket. I found this one in size Medium to be too tight fit and sizing up to Large was much too big. I ended up purchasing the Nexus Pull On Sweater instead, which didn’t have the same issue
