I love Raco . What can I say. I bought my first purchase more than 30 years ago. Loved the pots then and still love them now. Since then I have purchased the non stick frying pans and this time I purchased a set of pots for a family member whose getting married. What a great gift. Will certainly think of you again for next time. JO.
I’m largely happy with my new cookware set. I particularly like the cool touch handles and I dont know why some sets are offered without cool touch handles. I’m not so happy with the steamer, I find its multi size base and lack of its own lid renders it pretty much useless
I purchased the 7 piece set along with an additional 18cm saucepan. I really love the quality of them, but have been left questioning the practicality of some of the pieces. There's no steam vents in the lids to begin with, and the steamer itself is a big issue. I have a family of boys, and they love their mashed potato! So I've always filled the bottom of a saucepan with potatoes and placed the steamer over the top filled with the rest of our vegetables (like most people I'd assume). It saves on water and electricity, having to use only the one hot plate.However, the Raco steamer sits so far into the bottom saucepans that I cannot fit my usual amount of potatoes in, without having to watch the water to top it up before it boils dry. I gave it many chances, but it's just too poorly designed. So I'm back to using my old steamer, using only the one hot plate, having enough mash potato to suit my boys, and no more burnt fingers!
