Haven't tested it in the rain yet, but it seems sturdy enough. Has a lining which is mesh on the top half to regulate body temp and solid lining at the bottom. Hood tucks into the collar. Good for cold weather as you heat up quite fast.

son used it for trek said it worked perfectly. They had one of the coldest treks and he said it was light weight but barely felt the cold.

Bought an XL for my husband on line. Considering my S that I’ve had for years is a very large fit we assumed an XL would be plenty big enough and baggy for my husband. Upon receipt he tried it on and it was a very tight fit. He is only a large size at best. I laid the XL on the floor with my S over top. There was only about 1 centimeters either side in difference yet it is supposed to be 3 sizes larger! I’ve yet to see how hard it is to exchange it.
The lining has all deteriorated in less than a year leaving no protection but even more annoying is that it leaves specks of white polyester all over the place - makes me look like I have chronic dandruff. Disappointed.
